I understand with these nail salons it's always a hit and miss with each nail technician. Meaning the same nail technician can do a good to average job on one individual and the next can do a below average job.
This was my experience at One23 Beauty Bar.
My 1st time at this salon a few days ago and the experience I had, I would not be returning. I decided to try it out from the many good reviews. I guess I got the nail technicians on a bad day or these individuals who wrote these good reviews are okay with amateur work services for the price you pay. I could of done what they did at home and saved $100 if I was looking for this kind of work.
I booked online a shellac manicure and pedicure. The inside of the salon is a nice modern design and looks like it is maintained well. The 3 employees there seem to be nice. Just basic hi, okay, foot in water, we finish now, word exchange. That is all I have nice to say about my experience.
The salon had one nail technician doing my pedicure while another lady was doing my manicure at the same time. To me I felt like I was being rushed due to this when no one els was at the salon besides me and some other individual getting false fake nails. No one came in during or after my time there too. I think by both the nail technician rushing is why my nails came out shitty. Also it's hard trying to keep your ticklest feet still for the pedicure while your hand is cross over your body in the opposite direction as you are also getting a manicure at same time. Was really uncomfortable for me.
The lady who did my manicure....
Kept squeezing my fingers really hard turning them to point my knuckle kept cracking.
The filing of my nails are an uneven shape.
Rushed the basic manicure to where when I went home to really look at my nails in different lighting I had to cut myself two dead cuticles that was just diged under my nail skin plate.
The paint job is even worse in my opinion. Has bubbles in the nail polish and looks cunky the paint. I think she added to much nail polish paint to the nails when it dried under the UV light made it a thick bubbley chucky look. She also left shellac polish on my skin too.
The lady who did my pedicure....
Did not cut any of my dead cuticles around my nail plate.
Paint job was chucky and buddly too. read more
