John and his crew shifted their schedule so they could take them down the day before the storm- and finish them the day it was supposed to make landfall. We are so thankful they did this. Why would a supposedly expert installer put in a nonfunctioning component that renders the system dysfunctional? A D/C timer needs a D/C solenoid and once we installed it everything worked fine. The lawn they installed was full of nut grass we had to chemically eradicate. They explicitly refuse to provide any kind of warranty on their work of any kind after they leave the installation. When I noticed that irrigation was not happening from their system I tried to contact them and they just told me to try to modify the settings on my own, and refused to come out to inspect their own work and see what was wrong. I had to hire another company to come and look at the irrigation setup before I found out it was due to the wrong solenoid defeating the functionality of the entire system.
