Im sitting here watching everybody go ahead of me, This is ridiculous. Its uncomfortable in the waiting area because its cold in here and the seats are too low for persons with knee injuries and wearing immobilizers. The receptionist was nice but the wait is wayyyyyyy to long here. AND ITS Now 1:51am and I'm still sitting here. I'm not pleased.

UTMB Speciality Care Center…read more Visited this location for 20 mins, wasn't seen by the Dr. because the issue was in the abdominal region so they sent us away. Staff appeared to be nice to work with, no upfront issues. Initially, we explained the problem we came in for, the front desk and medical assistant said there would be no payment whatsoever unless the doctor decided to treat us (which they were doubtful they would see us after verbal explanation of pain). Before we were taken back to a room, the assistant informs us to head for the Emergency Room down the road, as they won't be able to treat or examine abdominal pain of any kind. No problem, we headed out the doors. We causiously stop at the desk on our way out, knowing we didn't owe anything, but better to confirm just in case. Two months later we get a bill for full treatment. The rest is history, and on their cameras. I only wish I had a tape recorder running! It's a nice location, but a shame that the staff were not knowledgeable enough to give out correct information.
