They charged us 3x what the any other plumbing service would have charged to unclog one toilet. We found out later. They removed the toilet to do what they needed to but then they put the toilet back loose and every time we can you could feel it tip. We called them to come fix it. They came and tightened it but didn't reseal around the toilet. For almost $1000 I would expect better service. read more

Incompetent, dishonest, unresponsive. Due to One Source's shoddy business practices, my family is spending Easter morning huddled around electric heaters. Three days after One Source "serviced" my two-year old furnace, it stopped working entirely. After repeated calls, One Source finally sent another service tech, Josh, and that's when things really got interesting. Josh first informed me that the previous tech had failed to change the filter, holding up the dirty filter and saying "these f***ing guys." Josh then tried to sell me a duct cleaning for $1,200 dollars, which I declined. I told Josh that while a duct cleaning might be necessary over the long term, it couldn't possibly be the direct cause of my broken furnace. The furnace had worked all winter through those same ducts. I asked him to go back to work, and fix the furnace. Josh then found a motherboard error, and cited a replacement cost of...you guessed it...$1,200. (Apparently everything at One Source costs $1,200 on a Saturday service call.) I asked Josh to complete the motherboard replacement, which was covered under my warranty. Josh said that his general manager told him that I would have to pay for this part. I asked to speak to the GM, and Josh gave me her number. When I called the GM, she did not answer. Instead, she called Josh and loudly reprimanded him over the phone for giving out her number. After the GM hung up, Josh told me that he hated working for One Source, and had put in his two weeks notice. Josh said that before he could leave, he needed a couple signatures. The first was a statement that I gave him permission to enter my home, which I signed. The second was an agreement to pay a $198 service call fee, which I declined to sign. Josh tried to tell me not to worry about the fee, but I again declined to sign this statement. After Josh left, I called One Source FOUR TIMES in an effort to get my furnace repaired. Each time, a very nice service representative expressed great empathy for my situation, and told me that someone from One Source would call me back within the hour. One Source NEVER called. Based on this experience, here's my advice: 1) DO NOT BUY a furnace from One Source. The service techs are incompetent, (except in upselling duct cleanings) and the company will not honor their warranty. 2) If, like me, you're already stuck with a One Source furnace, READ everything carefully before signing any documents. One Source is incompetent, dishonest, and unresponsive. Learn from my experience so that your family doesn't end up huddled around an electric heater on Easter Sunday. read more

A complete ripoff. I spend nearly $30,000 with this company in one day on a new home heating system and a mimisplit for an auxiliary dwelling unit. The minisplit worked for about three months and One Source refuses to fix it. They keep sending someone out to pour refrigerant into it and it leaks out within 10 minutes. I'm told to call the boss, Rosco, and he has refused to return multiple phone calls. I lost two tenants because of this an realize I gave One Source $10,000 so I can have an a useless ADU. I am very disappointed in that one source has sent technicians to our house twice and both times I truly believe we were taken advantage of. The first time we were told that we needed to have our vents all cleaned and sealed, and I should have known better and gotten a second opinion, but I was kind of desperate for my air conditioner to work again so we paid and that did not fix the problem. When they came back out, they replaced a part on our air conditioner and charged us almost $400 and the part when I looked it up on Ace Hardware cost 25. When that didn't fix the problem either they told us we needed to call an electrician. When the electrician showed up we were told we do not have an electric problem. We have an air conditioner problem. We are working on having a local, family owned, reputable Company that has been referred to us by family and friends. Hopefully take care of the problem. The diagnosis made earlier in error (not the other tech's fault: I had turned the circuit breaker off when I first noticed the problem. So, with the breaker on, Philip verified the furnace is working, and the problem was confined to the thermostat. Working with Philip, I felt I had made a friend. Someone from OneSource came to check my elderly mother's furnace and water heater. He told her the water heater was leaking CO2 and quoted her $4,900 for a replacement and for "other issues." Luckily she was smart enough to get a second and third opinion - both of whom said it was NOT leaking CO2, and though it'll need replaced eventually, both quoted a replacement of $2,500 or less. This company scams old ladies living alone, lying to them to make them scared enough to automatically choose their company, then overcharge them. Absolutely soulless jerks. These guys are crooks. They took advantage of my elderly parents and made no effort to make things right. Charged $3200 for two parts, one of which did not need to be replaced. We had our heat out and it took six hours to find out that it was a fuse. They did not have the part, and instead of coming the first thing the next day, they had us waiting until the end of the next day. We were told that they would come between 1 and 3 PM the next day, and we are still waiting without heat for them to come and replace a fuse. read more

They were fine at first but my Novo water softener stopped working right it would reduce water pressure to the rest of my house where no water comes out, so I bypass the water softener to get my water back, everything I call to get someone to come out the last three times, they send a guy that knows nothing of water softness, three times and even the guy would say why do they keep sending me to your house. I did call them each time to make sure they send a different plumber but no it was always tbe same guy... life goes on I get busy with other things I call again to have some one come look at my water softener and they finally send me the main plumber and he sees everything all the problems and issues, he then said he's going to make things right and either get it fixed or replace the whole unit, by this time I was worried about the warranty expired, but since he said I'm going to make it right for you, so I have to schedule for hi. To return and so I did, buy the next week he was supposed to come out and I get a call saying they had to cancle for me because he got caught up at another customers house, so they wanted to reschedule me, I said fine, but it must be the same plumber, but the next available was by the following week and I could not do it because I was going on vacation for about a month. I told them and they said give us a call when you come back. One month later I come home and I call them and I said I'm wanting to schedule for mt water softer again and they said there all booked up, try again in April omg ok, so by April 5th I goto the Springs and wanted to just goto there office in person this time, when I goto there address, they nolonher are there, it's another company, I ask them you know where they move to, she had no idea, so then I call there number and it's only the national number for OneSource.... I told that person I'm wanting to reschedule for my water softener, and she said will get you a call back soon. It's the 11th now, still nothing, I'm giving up. Go find another company please. We will not use one source again. We had appt to have tech come out to service our furnace that they installed 8 years ago. Appt was between 8 to 12 we called at 12 asking if we were still on the list for service they said yes got call later stating we were next. Ok good. a tech showed at 4.pm stating he was heading home and picked up our call as an extra. Went downstairs to start work and about one hour later stated we needed a gas valve replaced to the tone of 800 plus dollars would take at least 2 hours to install and would have to order the part. I just feel comfortable about the deal. Called a friend who said to call 719 Mechanical so I did explained what was going on they were out the next morning with the replacement part ready to go. Started working and said that was not even the problem it's the control panel not the gas valve . No way could they test the gas valve with the panel not working. Tuesday they ordered the correct part came back on Thursday morning to install within one hour they were done and we had heat. 719 Mechanical blew the price out of the water, less time and great work ethics and great technicians! They were the ones that stated parts still under warranty and would handle everything. ( one source never mentioned) We have a new company going forward and would recommend them 100 percent. read more

In January/2024 I had a new furnace installed. On January 20, 2025 I had an annual inspection done per the warranty. The technician arrived promptly and completed his inspection. After exiting the crawl space I asked the technician if everything was ok with the furnace. He stated, " there was a seam in the duct work that was loose and the screws were laying near the seam." I was surprised he didn't seal the seam. He said the issue was near the exchanger, not sure what he meant about that term the time. Nonetheless, I would have thought he would have sealed the seam since his company installed the furnace and the inspection would have included the duct work since it was on the new furnace. If the seam wasn't sealed last year I have been heating and cooling the crawl space for over a year. I went down into the crawl space while the furnace was running and a majority of the heat was heating the crawl space. I sealed the seam. It amazes me the technician didn't seal the seam if he noticed it and told me the screws were near the seam, just don't understand how he passed on this issue. I will never use or recommend One Source, ever again. read more

``After a tech came to do an inspection and maintenance to my Air Conditioner in my attic, Rain came about 2 days later and all of a sudden there was water coming through my hallway light fixture. /I thought my roof was leaking only to find out later that the overflow pipe from the AC was allowing water to escape as a connection was not connected. After numerous calls to the office and messages left, One Source has not responded to a $2,000 charge to find out they were responsible.. I have had 2 furnaces sand 2 AC's replaced by this organization costing thousands of dollars and this is how I get treated. Had them install a radiant heat boiler and tank and they did not install the pump to push the water through the radiant heat pipes. 26 phones calls, 1 call back, 5 missed appointments. All the week trying to get them to come and fix it while we were experiencing a polar vortex. Found out the phone number they list goes to Florida. Not a member of the BBB. This company is HORRIBLE!!!!! And that's probably the best thing I can say about then. We called them to have our furnace looked at because it wouldn't shut off at the set temperature. The guy that came out went through a series of checks on the system. Showed us photos of parts he said needed to be replaced, including the circuit board, I've done courses on computer repair, he said the board was displaying signs of burn from being bad. He went on to explain that replacing the entire system was the better option because repairs would only buy us a couple years. He went out of his way to get us financing for the 16,000$ it would cost for the new system he said we needed. Failed to be able to make that happen. Convincing approach about getting their service warranty so we would have it in place once we did get the financing done. We ended up having another company come out through a state program. Turns out we just needed the thermostat replaced. All this happened in DECEMBER!!! He left us with a furnace he shut down and no heat!!! The individual who replaced the thermostat was awesome and did the work quickly. He also pointed out that not just his company but a couple others have been chasing issues cause by One Source all over El Paso County. We've been chasing them for weeks now trying to speak with management and trying to get a refund. They are the WORST!!! In the process I've had to make 4 trips to the ER with my wife and stepson because they became sick from the issues this has caused us. read more

TERRIBLE!! I wish there was less than a one star rating. We used one source in 2019 when our boiler seemed to have problems. They came out and stated that our entire system needed to be replaced at a cost of over $11,000. We took this at face value because of good write-ups on yelp. Now, I have questions because of recent reviews and our most recent experience. Over a month ago, my husband spoke with someone at One Source and made an appointment for May 5 between 8 and 10 AM to go over a major renovation project. I called on Monday, May 3, to confirm the appointment and was assured that our technician would call before arriving on May 5. Today my husband waited and waited for someone to call or arrive, without any success. He called and could never reach anyone. He left a message, stating that if they could not be bothered to let him know they were running late or not coming, then they should not bother at all to come. I also tried to call the office, twice, but both times was hung up on by their system or by a person; it was hard to tell. No one came for appointment. No one called to explain or reschedule. So at this point I feel we were probably ripped off when we bought the boiler system, And we will not be using this company ever again. Alright. So. Here's the deal. I have had issues with one source previously. Lack of speedy communication for low-priority needed fixes, and a really uncomfortable experience with a new service tech that installed a part backward. However, I feel like it's important that I update my review based on an experience I had with them recently. I worked with Matt to replace a furnace that wasn't strong enough for our home. We also had a 15 year old rusted out water heater. Matt was able to get us financing and repairs DONE - and I mean *finished*- in less than twenty four hours. I will reserve that last star until I have a chance to work with them again, but this experience is a night-and-day difference to our last. To those talking about price gouging, please- let them know if you can't afford something or it's potentially too high for your budget. I can say definitively that they HAVE worked with us on price. Overall, use your judgement here, but I think (especially for HVAC) services I think you're safe. read more

Worst customer service I have ever had. Hire more experienced plumbers. We had the same technician (Roarke) out every time because there was "no one else" and he literally had to be on the phone with Dustin (supervisor) the whole time. Also provide different options other than only snaking from the roof and charging an outrageous price. Not only did we get the clog cleared for 1/4 of the price elsewhere by an extremely reputable place, we were told that roof snaking is not as of common route. Because your only tech was rushed out of the house for other jobs. We only got offered one other option, and it wasn't a dirty route and didn't solve our problem, and that would have been two way clean out which is common but....we had a plumber snake from our toilet and cleared the clog immediately. Do not recommend this company for any of their services for we have gotten Aeroseal and AC and we have had issues with those as well! Save yourself the struggle and go for a smaller local business that takes their time and cares, and also is fair priced. read more

TLDR; Not recomended over charged, wrong\bad diagnostice, and sabatoges equipment. Stay way. I have used Once Source Home Service for about 5 to 6 years. They had even been recommended by my to family and friends. The past year the service had gone down. Towards the end September 2024 had them out to look at the AC unit that stopped working. The AC (almost 5 years old) was "found" to have a bad compressior and even with it being under the manuafacturies waranty was going to cost $3,500 to fix. The furnace was also checked due to the AC having a heat pump and a furnace. After calling around town was told that the Freeon would be $60 to $85 ish per pound. (Don't remember the exactd cost. High end it would be about $750 for labor and freeon for (Olson Plumbing and Heating) to fix. When Olson came out to give a qoate for the AC, they checked the condensor which One Source did not check. The condinsor and parts and labor came out to $290. It is now 11/7 and I have been without heat for 8 days. Had Robbins come out to check on the furnace and there was a hose that was disconnected on the inside of the furnace. Called One Source to complain about the tech that was out. Either the tech was carless or he disconnected the hose that allowed pression to furnence, either way not happy to have to have someone come out and fix the furncnae after being told it was in good condition by One Source when the AC was looked at in September. read more

Warning: this company scams people with lies and excessive costs. One Source technician gave an estimate of $11,000 on two components in my furnace that needed to be replaced. All in need of repair was a low pressure leak in the AC system because there was a freon leak. Having knowledge of a few things about HVAC and the fact the system has been working absolutely perfect for the last five years. I called another technician from another company for a second opinion. They booked me in their schedule the next morning at 9 o'clock. He came out and within 20 minutes diagnosed the motor for the fan needed to be replaced. They installed a new motor within two and a half hours at a cost of $780 vs the $11,000 One Source wanted to charge. The one star rating is for One Sources technicians lies, deceptions, and unnecessary repair costs. Out of everything estimated by their technician at One Source the broken blower motor wasn't even on their list. I called One Source to get an explanation and was told someone in upper management would call me. I have yet to receive a call. This company is not honest or trustworthy. *DO NOT USE ONESOURCE** I bought a new AC and furnace this summer. I went with OneSource because they get decent reviews and claimed to do it quickly. I've never been so wrong. I'm now almost 6 weeks from the initial installation. Where do I start? They told me that my leak was caused by the old condenser freezing and sending water into the vents. 4 technician visits later and I finally find out that it is a cracked drain pipe. The new unit was installed on old copper coolant line that freezes up and leaks into my walls. I have new water damage from their botched installation. I pulled back some of the trim and I now have black mold. The competitive structure of their 3 teams (plumbing, hvac and electric) prioritizes sales over fixing problems. This also discourages the teams from sharing critical information about jobs. 4 times they have scheduled a service call without giving me notice, during hours that I have told them I am unavailable. I've also had technicians no show 3 or 4 times now. AND GET THIS: yesterday I overhead the plumber talking to his supervisor, saying that someone needed to come troubleshoot and make a plan to finish the installation. His supervisor screamed at him over the phone loud enough that I could hear the conversation in the other room with the TV on. So when the plumber asked for help solving the problem his supervisor said "dont you f***ing talk to me that way, I'll break your f***ing face you stupid b**ch." That supervisor's name is Jose Anon. They don't fix problems. Their teams don't collaborate on troubleshooting. They will upsell you a new system before they try to learn the cause of the problem. They verbally abuse their employees. They don't keep their appointments. They don't want to work around your schedule. I have no AC and new water damage. Ive been sleeping on my couch because of the holes in my bedroom walls. I'm hiring an attorney. What a truly awful company. read more
