*review is based on reply to AI find-a-business conversation only*…read more TL;DR: weren't able to do a simple alteration (due to a quality that i noted in the AI chat message sent over to them) that another business had no problem with, BUT they were quick to reply and told me no without having me come in im not sure how simple of alterations they do, but it seems to be simpler than the surrounding businesses' usual. i was requesting a simple side take-in of a polyester dress with mesh overlay (notated in the AI message sent out), but they were unable to do it. for background, i am an intermediate-level DIY seamstress, with a grandmother who runs a sewing/alterations store (a state away which is why i reached out to businesses here). this is a pretty simple alteration, so i was surprised when they said they could not do it. i drove to the closest alterations place that was open, and they had no problem with the dress fabric regarding the take in (i showed the dress before i bothered trying it on to make sure) i am attaching the details yelp provided to the business as well as the conversation. the only additional thing i added to the AI was the part of the side seams with zipper in the back, maybe altering cups (after i responded to them saying that, for the other businesses to see that information) im not sure if this is a review more so on the business or AI feature. i will say- they were quick to reply and did tell me no, rather than having me come in and telling me no or potentially messing up the dress.

Did awful job with 2 men suits and both dress shirts! When…read moreconfronted, lady could not "see" any of the issues! Working in any kind of customer oriented business, one needs to LEARN how to handle customers, ESPECIALLY, when the work was done poorly! Wish I refused to pay, but I did! Will GLADLY be taking my business elsewhere though!

Be careful and aware of the policies of this establishment. Due to a short timeline before my…read morehusband was scheduled for an out-of-town trip, I took 12 shirts to be "LAUNDERED" . I asked for light starch. I left all shirts at home with wooden buttons, as I know they will not launder these shirts. The bill was $47! Almost $17 was for the dry cleaning of three cotton shirts...one wrinkle release Eddie Bauer sport shirt, one 100% cotton and one poly/cotton. All had plastic buttons. All regularly washed. I picked up the shirts when the manager was not present. Two days later I stopped by with the shirts and I spoke with the manager, there was no move toward customer service. I noted that I asked for LAUNDERING...if not able to launder, the shirts should have been left undone and not dry cleaned, or they could have called me, or the shirts inspected when I dropped them off. The excuse of wooden buttons were not valid, no refund was offered (as "they had already been dry cleaned"). In addition, the shirts didn't look ironed and the amount of spray starch used was so light, the shirts didn't even look ironed. JUST BE VERY CLEAR BEFORE YOU LEAVE AN ITEM(S) ABOUT WHAT WILL BE LAUNDERED OR "DRY CLEANED". $47 for 12 shirts is way out of line.
