This wonderful veteran owned shop has a staff of individuals who absolutely adore dogs, their own and others. I went with a monthly subscription for my two, for the cost, I am able to take them in for a quick bath and get their nails done for a completely reasonable cost. Now, when you make an appointment they do ask you to bring a copy of your dogs shot records for your first appointment. You can also take a photo of the records and upload it to their appointment site if that is more convenient. In summery, I am finally able to get my dogs groomed at a reasonable price and the bonus is that my doggos are EXCITED to go there for their "spa treatments" Honestly, you can't go wrong with this shop.

They kept her there for over 4 hours and when I picked her up she didn't smell or look like she got a bath at all more like they just sprayed her with a spray, was shedding more then when I brought her in, her nails weren't trimmed at all and was covered in poop. I paid over $100 to just bring her home and have to give her another bath and brush myself. Not to mention they must have not given her any water the whole time because the second she walked through the door she drank her whole water bowl. Very disappointed.

We have two incredibly traumatized rescue dogs; one who came from a Korean dog meat farm and another who came from a bad hoarding situation, and they are sensitive to say the least. Our dogs are everything to us so it is always nerve-racking taking them to the vet. The first time we went to Pinehurst Animal Hospital, they went above and beyond to help me get my two babies into the room and looked at comfortably. Dr. Means and the nurse who was helping, were so sweet with them and they both sat on the ground with our dogs while they got their shots, etc. Our dogs require a lot of patience and they truly went above and beyond to help them. We have been seeing Dr. Means and her team for a few months now, and she is always incredibly patient, kind and thorough with our dogs. The front staff is also amazing and immensely understanding when we have to reschedule or even if I call about an issue or question we have regarding our dogs. They always call us right back with answers and always make us feel like they really care. We highly recommend this business & hope they will be around for a long, long time!

I also hoped to schedule a bath and nail trim for our Shar-Pei, Baxter. Suzette answered the call and politely informed me that they only offer daycare and boarding for existing clients who are residents and are not accepting any new customers out of town or offering grooming services at this time. While I appreciated the quick response, it was disappointing to learn this--especially since their website still lists these services as available, with no mention of the current restrictions. It would be helpful if the website were updated to reflect this, so potential customers aren't misled while trying to make plans. Hopefully, they'll consider clarifying this online to save others the inconvenience.

I was very thankful that they were able to squeeze us in last minute; however, upon arrival they were yelling in the back kennels for the dogs to 'shut up'. I do get it , barking dogs are annoying and honestly wrote it off; that it was the end of the day and it was likely getting the best of who ever was back there. I did not share this information with my husband as I truly wrote it off, we all have tough days, even in jobs that we love. Upon our return, my husband picked up our dogs mid day and came home telling me the same story. He said , "that place.... They give a great bath- the dogs smell amazing, but they were screaming at the dogs to 'shut up' while I waited for them to bring the dogs back." I wrote it off initially but the fact that they believe it to be okay while people are around, makes me wonder how they treat them when no one is looking. The only other complaint is that my dogs seemed to be much smaller when we picked them up after 6 days. It was either so stressful they wouldn't eat or they weren't encouraging them to eat. If they weren't eating , I'd have appreciated a call so that I could have someone bring by some treats or wet food to encourage consumption. Id say, if you're in a pinch this place might be okay; however, I don't see us using this facility again.
