I had a much different experience in Leeds where you had to wait at least 2 weeks for an appointment and once you got to see a doctor they were already writing the presciption before you entered the room! - So i really appreicate the service from here. It has recently merged with the doctors behind it and so have moved to the larger building behind but thsi move has been well signposted.

This is a very clean, friendly, restful environment with highly qualified physiotherapists who…read morequickly get you back on your feet. The staff are very accommodating and will do all they can (including after hours and home visits) to ensure that you receive the very best treatment at all times. They are also able to offer sports massage and acupuncture. After hours the physiotherapists also hold classes in Ballroom & Latin dancing, Latin Line dancing, Yoga and Pilates, with new classes for beginners starting on a regular basis. There are also facilities for podiatry and chiropody on a weekly basis and also for 4D, x-ray and ultrasound scans.

I cannot complain about the service I receive from here,it has always been the best on offer. There are no nightmare receptionists,customer care seems top priority and everyone is treated with respect and warmth. The building is light and airy and very welcoming and has an open reception desk.There are lots of self help and information leaflets available and a notice board area.Plenty of comfortable seating,a childrens play area and toilets. They offer a physio service at the surgery should you be unlucky enough to need it along with the usual health and support clinics.There are plenty of staff to help with queries ect and the whole surgery seems so well organised and the staff efficient and well trained. Always five star service here.

Able to offer appointments on the day for emergencies or in the evenings outside of work. The doctors never rush you neither if you want to flag up more than one issue! Your repeat prescriptions can be delivered to your local boots store or pharmacy if this is more convenient. I wax actually gutted to leave when I moved again outside of the catchment area. Highly recommend for anyone in the jesmond area!

Dr Newbegin has treated me during this period and what an excellent doctor she is ,her knowledge, helpfulness and communication skills ( essential in a diverse community such as Fawdon ) are first class,she is a credit to the group. The nurses , also , are worthy of praise , they welcome you like a long lost friend and are very skilled with your treatment. The reception team have to bear the brunt of an entire nations problems (appointments ) and they do it with control and politeness . Overall, I am very happy with the service. This place not to bad for the services but never got service on the Friday evening, even receptionist always not stanby in her chair and busy doing make up for going out.

They go out of their way to be helpful and make every procedure easy, explaining ewverything as they go. A really pleasant open airy hospital with very pleasant public areas. The whole place felt clean…read moreand tidy. The foyer area offered a nice coffee shop and some other shops including a jewellers. Better than most of the hospitals I have visited
