This was my first experience with Polish dumplings and I really did want to try this food. It helped too that I could see them being made and that the menu was in English as well as Polish. It was an almost entire female workforce who kneaded, rolled, stuffed and boiled the dumplings.
After a while I settled on the chicken soup with dumplings and I paid and got a buzzer to go back to the counter when it was ready. Boy oh boy was it superbly tasty soup. Just before it was served to me, with the buzzer flashing away, the lady roughly chopped a fist full of parsley and threw it on top.
The portion was generous, the half dozen or so dumplings were perfectly seasoned, flavoursome and the cost was about the same as a flat white coffee.
It was funny to observe though as either side of this glorious, really tasty food was a fast-food chicken shack and an American pizza chain both selling over-processed rubbish yet the young kids were choosing this rubbish and being well ripped off for the displeasure.
I could eat this soup daily. Really worth supporting this place. read more
