We had a wonderful time at the One legged pheasant. Nicole treated us like family. The craft brews were all delicious and if we lived in the area it would be one of our favorite spots. We met a local gentleman who directed us to the Brown County Fairgrounds for a night of quiet camping. We are from Texas. We love South Dakota and we will return. read more

Stop in!! Very friendly staff! About 8(?) selections on tap, quite a range though! They also have a root beer! Fun, light atmosphere. I really like to stop here when we are in town. The sour is so great!! read more

OLP is awesome! Dave the owner/brewer was backing bar and was just a treat to talk to! AND, his beers were amazing! He had about 9-10 on tap and my wife and I really enjoyed all of them! I particularly liked the Bocker Knocker and his IPAs and my wife really enjoyed the sour. If your in town, definitely stop by OLP, it's weel worth it! read more

Meet the Business Owner: David A.

Dave started out as a micro brew fan in Holland Michigan and his passion for yummy beer grew into brewing beer at home. Dave leard as much as possible through books, video and brewing with pros and when the time was rite he moved up to the big leagues and open the OLP in Aberdeen SD on September of 2018.

The Philly Cheesesteak Totchos were the star crispy tots piled high with what might honestly be some of the best cooked steak and veggies I've had on bar food. Super flavorful and done right. The waffle fries were perfectly cooked nice and crispy without being overdone, and full of flavor. Pretzel bites were your classic bar version well salted and paired with a really solid cheese dip that hit the spot. Overall, if you're looking for great service, a laid-back local atmosphere, and really good bar food, this place delivers. Definitely worth stopping in.

This place is amazing! So many beers on tap ice cold and ready to be served. The Stout beers were so full of flavor. My friends raved about the IPA's as well! Excellent, friendly staff and service! Dave and Nicole were a hoot and can't be beat. They offer tours of the brewery. If you happen to be on a motorcycle or car and are passing through or are near town this place is a MUST to stop by, they also have some grub if you need an appetizer. read more
