I advised them 2 weeks in advance that I need a early appointment to get my items more then 3 people including a manager nicole said they would put a note and not one person did . My mother has great difficulties with this company. She was in the hospital this past Thanksgiving. She was ordered a Wheelchair. She was told it would be delivered. After not receiving for several weeks they finally told us that it was on back order. Couple more weeks we finally received the wheelchair. Now her doctor the end of January has ordered a portable oxygenator. We were on the books to have delivered 3 separate times & never received. We then got a call saying that after these 3 attempts that it wasn't in stock. We were to have it delivered this past Monday & of course never received it. Called the office & the person who answered the phone said yes Insurance approved the machine in Jan when it was ordered & they delivered to her the beginning of February even though they said it was being delivered the day before. After speaking to a manager we were then told it was on the truck Monday & has no clue why it wasn't delivered. So she then told us that she would have delivered & would call back with a time. Did she do that, NO. I have worked in the medical several years & have never dealt with such stupidity. My next letter is headed to Humana who owns the company. In my opinion management is lacking empathy and professionalism. They didn't display any honest concern. Throughout my treatment, I made several attempts to contact my Occupational therapist supervisor Heather via text with important questions and concerns. Unfortunately, I received little to NO response. Her lack of communication was both frustrating and unprofessional , especially considering the importance of timely guidance during post-surgical recovery. I strongly urge your office to take this feedback seriously and conduct a through review of Heather's handling of my case, so no other patient is left in the dark during suck a vulnerable time. He delivered a hoist for me to use to move my husband from bed to chair, etc. he was extremely knowledgeable & helped me understand how to use it. The person they sent to help my mom with the bathroom had just had knee replacement surgery. Unfortunatly, they have the contract for Humana in the area so all real care agencies are stuck dealing with them and its caused an agency that could help to decline us specifically because of Onehome Care. There nurse changed my catheter and just left me to urine out blood for a couple days. I called the office and asked them to send someone out to help. NOBODY CONTACTED ME OR MY MOTHER. We were expecting a home care nurse and a physical therapist. When I reached out to them I was told the Order from the hospital expired, send a new one from her primary physician and we did, they faxed it twice. Nobody in that office could find the faxes. Oxygen equipment was delivered to my home for my husband who was in the hospital. They made me sign paperwork, but never gave me a copy. When I called to ask for a copy of the forms, no one could figure out how to do that. My husband then passed away in the hospital one week later. I called to have the equipment picked up, but told them a specific time within the only day (the funeral). I asked for 5:30 they came at 3:30. Three more calls and the equipment is still here. The WORST company known to man. I've been caretaking an individual for FOUR years, and not ONCE did the person I'm caretaking receive ANY kind of therapy service. For FOUR years, this company has been neglecting their duties and to even be partnered with an insurance company like Humana, just to do absolutely nothing is disgusting. They always send documentation to Humana early and send documentation to the PCP late, and I get a denial letter from the insurance about a lack of a plan of care signed when the PCP office has multiple records of a plan of care being sent signed. My 97 year old mother fell down and fractured multiple ribs. After a stint in a rehab facility she returned to her ALF. She needed a hospital style bed and through her medical plan, Conviva/Care Plus, was ordered. Delivery was scheduled for November 25th. Someone from One Home called early in the morning and requested that the room where the bed was going into be cleared of any furniture. However, the bed never materialized even though during mutiple phone calls throughout the day they promised that it would be there in the afternoon. Needles to say there was no bed delivered and my mother sleep in a recliner. The following day I called One Home and spoke with supervisor Emilia who stated that the bed would be on the way soon. Tired of the run around I contacted Care Plus and they called One Home. Again, One Home promised delivery before the end of day and as of this writing no bed. This is the worst company I have ever delt with. Shame on Humana and Care Plus for using this company to represent them. read more

You know theres a problem when the CSR recites where to call to report complaints [btw, it's into a swirling Medicare vortex never to be seen again]. Possible workarounds: ask Humana to join you in a conference call to OHC, ask your doc to resubmit request and lean on OHC. ask for MICHELLE, a supervisor -- worked once, never seen again. Upgrade to PPO with more/better DMEs. DIY equipment repair. OHC hires monkeys as employees...not even trained monkeys [which cost ten cents an hour more]. just script-reading dumb monkeys. As with other aspects of healthcare, "I deserve better." Especially with OHC. read more
