Parking was so easy to find come early as a lot the neighborhoods were filling up pretty fast. We live down the street but decided to drive over in case I wanted to buy something and too heavy to walk back with. They have over 200 Booths with unique items. I am mostly interested in the Princess Booths with the face painting which I am planning on getting my face done along with my niece tomorrow. They also have a Beer Garden which was not open yet when we arrived today at 10am. They have so many food booths from BBQ, Country Fair Cinnamon Rolls, Boba, Indian Food, Mexican Food and Fair food along with the other restaurants in the area such as Luna's, House of JuJu, Roll Me Some and other goodies. I love the little girls Garden Booth and wanted to buy everything up from the little girl and her parent! They were so pleasant and nice. All my Princess Senses were tingling. They had performances going on and live bands and signing up for Raffles which I highly recommend which I did win a Raffle before coming to a different outdoor event so they are LEGIT! The Clovis Chambers, SPCA was there with Puppies, Republican and Democratic Parties and SUPPORT OUR POLICE when CLOVIS PD was there looking GOOD :D the dude and I couldn't stop staring haha it was fun. They have a Kids Zone filled with games, petting zoo, princess face painting and so much more! I would highly recommend giving Clovis Fest a try. I loved the music and performances and seeing all the young entrepreneurs and established booth owners and unique shops. Clothing, hats, food for days! It was hot dat so make sure you grab water, hat , sunscreen and a the many boba or shaved ice or ice cream places to cool off. Coming back tomorrow and planning on getting a new plant to add to Our garden. Totally fun, Family friendly event and did I tell you they have A TRAIN RIDE!!!! I highly recommend coming!!

Parking fills up quickly and people settle into the rodeo grounds early in the morning. The balloons take off after 7 and there are about 10 balloons total. One balloon stays behind to offer tethered rides. Pretty cool for only 10bucks a person. Across the street where the farmers market usually is in Clovis are tons of vendors. They sell everything from soap to food. All unique gifts to take home. The cutest thing this year was they had little kids selling their products. It was great to see young entrepreneurs. There is also plenty of delicious eats to chose from with all the great food trucks and restaurants in Clovis. So if you're ever free when they have Clovis fest again it's a must to come check things out.

How I miss this!! It truly was the best Christmas light attraction, especially in it's early years…read more So much technical skill and mastery went into this. I am not surprised the COVID shutdowns did it in, what with the social distancing, but the people who put this attraction together back in it's heyday were extremely talented and I am very grateful they gave us quite a show for the holidays!! You guys made Christmas so special.

With Christmas Tree Lane and and Candy Cane Lane being more (currently) known--Santa Claus Lane…read moresometimes becomes overshadowed. But honestly this might be the hidden gem. Christmas Tree Lane is a huge attraction for the Fresno/Clovis community and as it should be as there are decades of history behind it. No one can take anything away from it, and it's still great--but it sometimes can be overwhelming having to deal with the crowds especially if you go during the walking days. It's hard to enjoy it when you are shoulder to shoulder with someone or the speed of the car is a standstill. Think of Disneyland during a busy day and that is the vibe. As for Candy Cane Lane, its more modern houses but more decked out but that too has sometimes become too overcrowded and navigating the streets by vehicle is grueling! Now Santa Claus Lane is a more relaxed experience which I prefer. The overall decorating of the homes are not over the top like Candy Cane Lane, but what really gives this the cool factor that neither Christmas Tree Lane or Candy Cane Lane can beat are the syncing lights of the entire neighborhoods. You've seen YouTube videos of those homes that have their lights dance with the music--imagine that but the ENTIRE neighborhood. It's the first I've seen and it gave an instant "WOW" expression from all of us. Everything is more uniformed here-where as custom/semi custom homes fill up Christmas Tree/Candy Cane Lanes, Santa Claus Lane is a tract development. So it serves for a different style in decorating. The music and the synchronization of the lights with it through the neighborhood is it's claim to fame. What's even cooler is the neighborhood has it setup so they have their own radio station so you listen to their playlist on your radio and you drive through the streets to be in amazement. The media I saw/read coming into this year's setup was that it got bigger. This was my first year so I can't compare from previous years. Not to say this was small because tons of houses participated, but it's smaller than Christmas Tree Lane/Candy Cane Lane. But here everyone was on board. No gaps of grinches or scrooges. Christmas Tree Lane and Candy Cane Lane are definitely more grand attractions in Fresno/Clovis during the Holidays compared to Santa Claus Lane, but my honestly feeling is Santa Claus Lane was more enjoyable due to the more relaxed and less crowded atmosphere. The neighborhood did a great job. Soon I see this place being just as crowded because I can only see it getting better, so I'm glad I was able to experience it before that happens.

The St. George Greek Orthodox Church always hosts this annual food festival and I trust the proceeds from the event go to help the church and the local Greek community. Most of the dishes range in price between $3 for many desserts, to $4 to $12 for most savory items individually. I thought it was ridiculous to charge $4 for the rice pilaf, which was actually only a dollar less than the roast chicken, and they gave me so little too. The chicken/pork souvlaki was very tasty but one tiny skewer was hardly worth the $7. I also believe I was grossly overcharged unless the prices went up and the prices listed on the pamphlet were outdated. This is very unlikely, however, since I came on the first night of the festival. Many of the volunteers for the event, many of them were very young, were terribly unhelpful, and not prepared at all to answer even the most basic questions (e.g., the type of meat and ingredients in the dish they were serving, where you could purchase drinks, where the restroom was, etc.). BEST BETS: lamb shank, spanakopita, moussaka, roast chicken, Greek salad, walnut baklava, saragli - pistachio, and baklava sundae.

The people were very…read morenice at all booths, but their hands were tied to the disorganization and lack of answers. The food was a 1.5 out of 5 stars. The star of the a la carte platter (see picture) was the dolmas. But the uncooked rice pilaf chunks and gamey lamb shank were atrocious. The mocha frappe is sadly misleading with no blending of the drink. Sad tasting made worse with Hershey (low quality) chocolate used in a latte that did not use quality beans for the espresso. Of the aforementioned complaints, they sold hummus, but somehow not a La carte. And it was in a 2oz. Container, along with 3 pieces of cheese, pita, cucumber sauce, and olives do 12 freaking dollars. So we left a Greek festival empty-handed of the most desired item, hummus. I am quite disappointed what is supposed to be a "jolly" affair. For context, we visited between 2-4pm on Saturday.

Glad to be welcomed back home to this ag community and to be a part of it! Everyone was super friendly from the crowd, the people in line for the bathrooms, booth vendors, etc. Some tips for buying your tickets, ABCD has a bit more space for your butt as the other side is on bleachers. If you do sit in EFGHI etc, sit closer to the aisles and bring some earplugs if you have sensitive ears. Also if you are sensitive in general, the rodeo clown comedy fits the community--what a refreshing taste of reality and part of why I love my town! I attended the bull riding for day 1 and had a great time, so much so I bought more tickets for the week and sat through soaking rain to enjoy it. If you get a chance to go, you should. Tickets and food vendor prices are all fair, they are priced up but not excessively in my opinion which gives space for you to leave tips. All purchases support our community organizations!

We always find a place to have diner and then walk around and enjoy the music. We visit the different thrift stores. We always find something nice to buy. It has become a tradition for us to attend this event every year. Highly recommended. It is the official start of the Holidays for us. It's almost like a magical night.

There is always something to explore in OTC, from businesses to people. I love the events that they have which at least I feel like there's something going on every two weeks. The dude and I have gone to several restaurants and Roll Me Some is in OTC, BOA, EECU, and so much more. I am never disappointed when I come to OTC and wish Fresno put on more events like Clovis. There is always something to do here. They have the annual Christmas Parades, Big Hat Days, Veteran Parades and spring much more. I highly recommend to come down and check it out.

I helped myself to some local whipped honey and bee pollen. The corn dog and curly fries brick was about $25 and the grilled corn was $7. The sea lion show attracted many people and a lady going around with bubbles had the kids jumping with joy, my toddler enjoyed both. If you look past the food, there's still much to enjoy. I just got food items that my kids would enjoy. I'll be going to the RnB Concert this week so we will see how that goes, I kind of scoped if there was any new vendors. I think I'll just be going for the usual smoked turkey leg and sticky cinnamon roll:)
