They only like communicating through text message. And if you call to much, they will get annoyed. They also blocked me on fb because I was looking into their bad reviews. And was extremely unprofessional through text messages without contacting me in person. Not one phone call until I started getting angry. Did I mention that my teeth aren't looked after properly (with one follow up appointment) even though They said they were fine after one? Don't gum grafts take up to 8weeks or longer to heal? Usually, staff only talk to the parent and then expect the child to let a stranger look in their mouth. THIS PLACE IS ALL ABOUT THE KIDS! From the decor to the toys in every waiting room (even a slide in the main one). Everyone looked my little guy in the eyes and talked to him sweetly. He was happy to be there. Also, there was NO SHAMING. The dentist and hygienist gave me excellent advice while affirming me as a mother. They took their time with us and used our first names in conversation. Everything is explained very clearly and my perspective is heard. Over sixty years ago I had a very overcrowded mouth, six non molar teeth were removed and I had my teeth straightened. Over the years they have moved a lot. The OK Dentistry have kept my teeth healthy. Since they shift and don't line up well, sometimes a tooth needs to be ground down because my bite is damaging it. I contacted the clinic to schedule cavity treatment / a filling, but because my request was misunderstood at the front desk, one appointment ended up being essentially unproductive and did not move my main issue forward. What made it worse is that I was finally "examined" at my later visit -- something that could have been done during the previous appointment -- and it was still unclear what the earlier visit was meant to accomplish.

The staff sent paperwork to confirm how much the most urgent problem would cost me. He gave me options on mouth guards. He was kind, engaging, and provided simple solutions. Lisa knew that I was expecting to pay, approximately, $172 out of my pocket for my cleaning. She told me I was taking very good care of my teeth and gums and I didn't have any stains on my teeth, therefore, I could 'skip' the polishing this time if I wanted to. I said 'that's a great idea'. My bill was $122. Thank you Lisa for saving this retired client, living on my pensions, $50! I highly recommend Westside Dental Centre in West Kelowna !! :))
