After one of Okc's notorious spring wind storms, i lost a lot of shingles on my admittedly, very…read moreold roof. I gave Okc roofers a call pretty late in the afternoon and Joe was able to come out the very next morning. Out of the three roofers, I had come out to give me an estimate. I think Joe did the most comprehensive and detailed inspection of the existing roof, including getting into the attic which the other two roofers did not do. After the initial inspection, Joe was able to quickly work up a number of estimates and give me numerous different options cost and benefits to each. He really took his time explaining the differences and benefits, especially considering Oklahoma's sometimes very enthusiastic weather. Due to the age of the roof and my personal preference. I decided to not go through the insurance even with the expertise Okc Roofers has with working with the insurance companies. Thankfully, after getting three estimates, Joe was able to work up a very competitive price for the roof replacement to go along with the exceptional long lasting warranty. If all that wasn't enough, even after the contract was signed I had a number of questions and concerns leading up to the job. Every time I did, Joe was very quick to respond and happy to answer all of my questions and provide answers or other resources to make the whole process go very smooth.

The second was Big League Roofing, Jimmy Myers, one of the owner's came to my home and took measurements and was ready with a great estimate/price. The second and third company had issues using the yelp to communicate. We were able to make a deal quickly and Jim gave me an excellent price with an amazing military discount. Did I mention Jimmy is an Oklahoma native and professional baseball pitcher for the Orioles back in the day? Our roof, 3 garage doors, gutters, side door and a cathedral window all needing replacing. AEGIS ROOFING got everything done for us! Everything! Jonathan at AEGIS acted as our contractor - got subcontractors to do some of the work, made sure it was done correctly, argued multiple times with our insurance company, was reasonable with pricing AND was responsive to multiple questions AFTER the work was paid and completed. SLICK SALES PITCH - POOR PERFORMANCE…read more Southlake Builders re-roofed my home. I had numerous issues in the process. They demanded payment before they finished their contract and threatened to file a lien on my home if I didn't agree to pay them before they completed their work. I'm still picking up nails and roofing material in my yard that was supposed to be removed. They also broke all of my flowerbed yard lights and a ceramic bird bath. I ended up contracting another company to finish the job. I have since found out that other companies charge much less for the same work. There are several good roofing contractors out there but Southlake Builders isn't one of them.
