Bob did a wonderful job. Not only did he teach the techniques of cpr but he made you understand how and why cpr works. Plus the class was very relaxed so you felt comfortable asking questions. My toddler went to her immediately and loved hanging out with her. While I was laboring she tidied up my kitchen so everything was clean for the next day for my husband. She supervised my little one while he came in to see me, and took him to another room when things got intense. He even let her put him down for a nap which I was super surprised by! My husband was able to focus on me the entire time without having to worry about the little. My labor was fast and intense so I was really thankful he was there for support. I would definitely recommend having a sibling doula from labor of love at your home birth, or if you need someone to be with your kids while you're at the hospital.

Charlotte, our Doula was the stability we needed in the swirl of hospital drama. She reminded my husband and I that the choices were ours and we should feel no pressure to do anything we were uncomfortable with during the birth of our second child. Her calming hands, foot massages, aromatherapy and beautiful voice was calm we both needed.
