The space was outfitted with several working spaces. There are hightops and desks. The space had wi-fi exclusive to members and several electrical outlet, which are always a plus. Yet here I am, more than nine months later, still disgusted by how I was treated by this blatantly discriminatory company. I hesitate to use that term, but there's no other way to describe what I experienced. In September 2023, I had a severe back injury that required surgery. Once I started working again, I returned to this company facility on Memorial because I enjoyed the atmosphere. I was such a fan that I visited six days a week, despite the inconvenience of having to walk 200 to 500 yards just to get inside due to limited parking. It was worth it to me. One day while I was working, I took off my shoes under the table. A staff member approached me and told me--very rudely-- it was against company policy and that I had to put them back on. I wasn't aware of the rule, so I complied immediately. A few days later, due to a lack of parking spaces, I waited in my car for one to open up. The same staff member who had spoken to me about my shoes came outside and told me to move. I explained that I wasn't parked--I was simply waiting for a spot. We exchanged words for about 10 minutes, and eventually, I told him I would report his behavior and tone to management. His response? "IF you do, it won't matter!" I found that hard to believe, so I wrote a letter to management the very next day. Their response? They terminated my membership. I was never a disruptive customer. I simply stood up for myself when I was treated unfairly. Most companies would appreciate loyal members giving feedback about what's happening on the ground. But not this company. Instead of addressing the issue, they chose to terminate me. I urge you not to support this company. They don't value their customers.

Fast forward 5 months into our year long contract and access to the gym has been revoked unless we pay an additional $100 per month. Hannah Mostellar, the General Manager, has refused to honor their commitment, is unwilling to compromise on my monthly rate, and will not terminate our lease early so that we can find an alternative space. Instead she referenced my contract stating that services may be removed at any time at Industrious' sole discretion. Don't be fooled by the "extra amenities" as they can be stripped from you without warning or compromise. The only services they are contractually required to provide are printer services and internet. It's a shame that an organization that was recently acquired by a massive, publicly traded organization (CBRE), is unwilling to do right by small business owners. My pork sandwich was good, enjoyable, but I'd recommend a little higher pork/cabbage ratio. While it was a tasty sandwich, it was missing much influence from the pork. Could use a little kick too, maybe a dash of carolina sauce on the pork? The Broccoli and Potato soup was tasty but too salty and too thin. The house made chips were tasty but not hot and more chewy than cripsy - like I got yesterday's leftovers instead of today's fresh made. Overall I have high hopes for this place. The other members tend to be passionate entrepreneurs, home office workers and small business owners who have no need for traditional brick and mortar offices of their own. I feel inspired by the energy given off by all the creative types that frequent this establishment. Roam feeds into the clientele by offering up interesting educational topics on a regular basis (lunch and learns, motivational breakfasts, etc). They offer secure mail box service where they will receive your business snail mail for an additional fee. Think of this place for your team's meeting instead of the same old hotel conference room. The equipment is modern and already set up to handle your coaching needs- wall mounted white boards, flat screen TVs ready to connect to your laptop and a variety of refreshments for your group. I would also recommend doing your job interviews in this environment. No membership? No worries since they sell single day visits.
