We needed somebody who could be on site and make decisions with little direct guidance. Denise did the design, the required budgeting, and the planning work upfront to make sure all the required materials would be ready. Then, being the one-stop-shop she is, Denise and her team were able to supervise the clean-up, do the required touch up of paint and such, assemble new furniture pieces, and provide and install all the original art needed to make the place a show stopper. We were super satisfied with the results and feel only an approach like Denise's could have got this done on time and on budget!

Inside, you'll find spray paint, paint markers, stickers, prints, and cool urban apparel for purchase, all of which features the work of our local Austin street artists and often has a motivational, "Keep Austin Weird," or "Austin Pride" kind of message. Chances are that if you have noticed any impressive new mural or live street art event around town (such as at the X Games, ACL Fest, SXSW, FunFunFun Fest, East Austin Studio Tour, or the Long Center lawn) over the past 4 years, SprATX was involved. The artist posts clues on Instagram and waits for a lucky treasure hunter to find the stash. The finders post their "I found it!" reactions online, tag the artist and #ATXFreeArtFriday, and the cycle continues. The diverse 30+ member collective includes amazing local street scene artists like ZUZU, Roshi K, G52, Truth, Lucas Aoki, and Drib, whose works you've likely viewed all over town. The collective also serves as an incubator for talent around the country through their Artist Exchange Program, which pairs artists from Austin and other cities to co-create murals which are then created and revealed in the partner artist's city. It was a…read morespecial birthday gift and Gary got it to me with a week to spare, although it was to my eye, very detailed and labor intensive. The results were just beautiful. He kept in touch with me and showed me his progress via e mail so that he could change it if I needed him to. (We are not in the same city). Amy does outstanding airbrushing! She has skills!…read more I am an artist working on a large, complex piece. Part of it called for airbrushing but I don't airbrushing and didn't want to learn it just for this one piece. Then, I came across an airbrushed mural Amy had done on the grounds of Casa de Luz, my favorite vegan restaurant in Austin. Fortunately, she signed it "Airbrush by Amy." I immediately looked her up and a days later, she came to my studio and did the airbrushing -- beautifully! Amy really listened to what I wanted the airbrushing to accomplish and she was able to execute it as I had envisioned it. She worked fast and her price was reasonable. Thank you, Airbrush by Amy!
