But Caryn is one of the most caring and compassionate healers I have ever had treat me. I was initially skeptical about acupuncture. Caryn listened patiently and without judgement. There was a dramatic improvement immediately after that initial session. I moved like the rusty Tin Man of Oz before my appointment. When I walked out, I could have skipped and danced down the Yellow Brick Road. I was more than 75% pain free after just an hour of being a human voodoo doll. Acupuncture isn't supposed to hurt. Some of the needles I didn't even feel at all. If anything, all I felt was a little tap. Caryn encouraged me to voice my discomfort if any of the needles gave me more than a tiny pinch.
