Lots of little areas of interest and a tearoom with homemade cakes. We do like a nice garden to share a cippa and a chat, the whole experience was ruined by the surly waitress who obviously did not want to be there on a Sunday. Tea arrived in two cardboard cups & cake in a bag. Not really good enough for £9.00 A real shame.

Run by a lovely man named Dave it is a lovely place to browse. They will buy in old antiques and they will also do house clearances. It is best to call for a quote. I would go looking in this shop for something a bit different and its best to keep checking as he gets new things in all the time.

In contrast to the previous review, while I did note that the owners have a Bentley and that many of the things they sell are reproductions etc I do believe that they offer a real service, are helpful in meeting your needs and they do have some antiques which are labeled as such. We have a fun time and came home with about 700 pounds of items (not a single antique!) and are happy with what we got. Will be back but will look elsewhere for a bigger selection of true antiques.

New in is the weird 'fake antique' Peaky Blinders stuff that seems to be drowning every vintage store these days. Look, the place is really fine and potentially good to look around, sometimes you might find a nice piece in there, however marketing itself as an antique centre of sorts is not really justified. It is 75% new stock and a few magnificent, but over-priced, antiques. Lots of good reclaimed garden furniture but again, the prices are painful in constrast to local reclaimation sites.

The shop (renovated house) is huge and has two floors of rooms stuffed full of antiques This shop sells period clothing which is the main reason me and my friends visit because we are interested in such things. It is enjoyable to walk around, yet a little creepy at times, especially if you are on your own. Staff are generally friendly but a little weary about youths and so when we walk in they follow us around the whole shop in case we do something stupid i suppose. The antiques are crammed in and so you have to be careful when you are walking round and this can be hard when things are hanging off of tables. It never seems to get very busy at all. The prices can be quite expensive.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and always there to help. It has over 55 dealers on two floors dealing in all sorts of antiques and collectables including vintage clothing, silver, vinyl records, furniture, military items, antique jewellery and much more. The shop is heaving with stock, all higgeldy-piggeldy jammed in, with two ludicrously narrow aisles to navigate down - definitely not a space for wheelchairs or pushchairs, and my large frame struggled squeezing past other shoppers without causing a landslide! I spent some time drooling over some seascape paintings that most people would think were vile, but eventually concluded I have enough bad 70s art on my walls at the moment. It is jam packed from floor to ceiling with stuff, so much so that there should be a designated one way system to navigate the store otherwise it's traffic jam central. It is a treasure trove of stuff, literally stuff. There are cabinets full off wade figurines, multiple coffee and tea services, furniture, books, mattresses, clocks, pretty much anything you can imagine is probably hiding in here somewhere. There are stacks loads of books at the back that i was desperate to much through but because of a pile of mattresses and heap of other stuff in front of the cabinets I couldn't get anywhere near them. Price points vary with really cute 50's coffee sets for £4 to G plan furniture from £80. You can definitely bag a bargain here but on other things the owners really know what they have and price accordingly. I was tempted by several things but didn't buy so i'm not sure how they are on the old haggle but give them a try, I'm sure there is room for manoeuvre.
