Basically paid premium after hour fees for the guy to come and do nothing. Checked the freon and determined it was low and me not understanding hvac systems that freon does not decay with age was told i needed freon. He did nothing to check for why it was low this is something i learned from hiring an actual professional. Charged me a lot then fast forward not even a week and it wasnt working again.. nice way for these companies them to make a quick buck. Dont hire these guys. Also the tech put his gauge on my condenser and it hit the fan and dented it... Update : the owner called to make it right with me. On Time Electical is the worst company ever!!! Customer service is definitely not a priority for them. I'm still fighting with them after two years. The electrician, Latham, completely rewired my house & it's still not right. Only one outlet in my kitchen works & have lights I can't use because they have shorts in them. Also my electrical panel wires are all exposed. When I asked the electrician about it he said, "I'm not a carpenter". I have paid them 15k & they are still charging me interest on the balance of which I refuse to pay since the job wasn't completed or done correctly! They will not work with me! They do sloppy work & I was told the job would be done in less than two weeks but it took two months! Jeremy the plumber was awesome! He is very kind & got the job done quickly! Although, he still has the key to my house! I paid that portion of the bill in full but they are still charging me interest on it! I would not recommend this company to anyone!!! read more

Had a problem with our HVAC system. They came out on time but seemed very unfamiliar with our Lennox system. I had to explain how to use the thermostat. After a long time the technician said he couldn't figure out what was wrong and left. At least he didn't charge me for the extended time just the visit. Excessive costs! My furnace was acting up and not working properly. I called On Time Plumbing because of the good reviews on Google. The technician arrived within the scheduled time window during normal business hours and figured that the filter of the returning air in my house was clogged. Took him less than 30 minutes to get the filter changed and the unit cleaned up. And btw, I provided the filter. My jaw dropped when he presented me a bill of $264 which included $99 dispatch fee!!! He also tried to talk me onto a service plan which would ne $30 less for 2 visits. What kinda business attitude is that and why not being transparent about their costs! NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

The company responded well to the initial call and I was told an estimate it would require the excavator and the job would be $2700. It was decided that it could be hand dug and the hole took a short amount of time and they changed a small fitting and refilled the hole. The estimate of $2700 remained even though the excavator was not used. The crew arrived at 9 am and spent most the morning in the truck. The additional helper did majority of the work where the other gentleman sat and in the truck. I was disappointed that the decision to change from excavator to hand dug was not communicated as I would have gladly dug the hole to save money. I called and talked to the company and they offered a 10% discount which is helpful. The work on the job was completed with no issues but the price of the job regardless of the excavator or by hand was not communicated very well. read more

These people are just plain dishonest. They are difficult to schedule because they give all day windows. We had a horrible experience when booked with them through American Home Warranty service. Essentially, they are attempting to bill for a service they did not perform because they did not meet their service window. They have lied to us and the home warranty company about the circumstances of this claiming they agreed to a 6 pm appointment and because we told them that was too late we cancelled. They NEVER committed to anything other than 8-6 and we were there during that time. We had to call at the end to see when they were coming but the technician said we weren't even on his list! He offered to come on over, but we said don't bother as you would now be after 6. Now they deny and try to claim they scheduled at 6 when they refused to commit to any time window other than 8-6. If I could rate zero I certain would! I used On time Plumbing & Heating via my home warranty (American Home Shield) for a simple dripping faucet. The drip was minor (less than a table spoon during an 8 hour time frame); however, we are preparing to move and I wanted the drip stopped. The tech said we had sediment in the screen, so he cleaned and replaced the screen. The result...our water pressure was DRAMATICALLY reduced and the drip was SIGNIFICANTLY increased (a drinking glass was filled in three hours). When I called to have someone return to correct the issues I was told they could come between 8 and 4 two days out. No rush for their error and no apologies for their error. Needless to say, I contacted American Home Shield and informed them of the issue (they were less than helpful); however, I informed them that they should reconsider using this company. I may or may not be out my home warranty deductible for this visit, but I will get the problem On Time Plumbing created (and intensified) with a plumber I select! The so-called "plumber" that came out cut a hole in the ceiling to find a leak. He did not find it, and left the hole for me to have repaired. Told me i would now need yo remove linen cabinet to find leak. I did not, and sent him packing. Before repairing ceiling, I called a non-American Home Shield plumber who found the leak upstairs, and he did not need to open downstairs ceiling to find it, nor did any cabinetry need to be removed. read more

I have used them 3 times for work thru American Home Shield and have been very happy each time. 2 times for clogged pipes that were resolved quickly. The first time they came the serviceman told me he could smell gas. Got the gas co out and he said I had a substantial leak. I lost my sense of smell a few years back so I feel the plumber possibly saved my life. They came back out and checked all the gas pipes for leaks and found I had multiple leaks. It also seemed that at some point the HVaC system had been put in around the gas pipes which created an access problem. On Time replumbed the pipes so that they can be easily accessed and I was very happy with their work. read more

I had a busted pipe. The busted pipe was under the house in the crawl space. Initially the crawl space was full of water. I pumped out as much water as I could. Yet, there was still some water on the surface of the dirt floor in the crawl space. I first contracted with another plumbing company. They came out two or three times. They would not go into the crawl space. They didn't want to get wet and dirty. Finally, I fired the first plumber. That's when I called On Time Plumbing. They were out in 24 hours. The two plumbers assessed the problem. Got to work. Problem fixed in less than two hours. Yes they got wet and dirty and cold. But, being the professionals they were they got the job done. No excuses. The professionalism and emphatic approach was not only impressive. They cared about the people who had been without water for over three days. Finally, I have been working with this company for years. I have never had a bad experience. The job that exemplified this company's professionalism was the cold, wet, dirty crawl space job. The technician blamed it on roots. If it was a "tree root" problem none of the bathrooms would drain. He refused to do anything further because of "roots"! Mark was not on time, not professional, charged for items that were not done, and the job itself was done poorly. He initially ordered the wrong heater both size and type natural instead of LP. didn't clean the area where the old furnace sat or allow me to instead said"can't see the dirt now" when I called and spoke to the office manager Dave his response was he's a master. There was no apology only that he would send a refund for the parts Mark charged for but didn't install. Dishonest company! Do not use! I had an Inspection report done in March before purchasing this house. Outside plumbing in good condition stated on the report. I used this faucet for 2 months and this plumber came out and told me my pipe busted due to freezing in June! There wasn't any freezing weather in June! He was only interested in trying to charge me 3 times more than the amount paid!! The going rate for plumbers in this area is $65-$75 hour. Don't let the name fool you...They are anything but "on-time" the technician was supposed to arrive between 12 and 4. Showed up at 5 without a call to let us know they would be late. Tony the technician mis-troubleshot our problem and reported the wrong info to the insurance company. One-time' s customer service leaves little to be desired. We were told " whatever dude I don't know what to tell ya" and hung up on when we confronted them on their mis-diagnosis. This company has HORRIBLE customer service and even worse communication skills. When we called to make an appointment they informed us that we needed to be available for a time window of 8am to 6pm on a Thursday. We have jobs, and can't just take a day off to sit around and wait for someone, but they REFUSED to give us a smaller window, and when we requested a later time were told they couldn't make any time requests. So on the day, we made arrangements for someone to be at our house all day. When I got off work at 5:30- STILL no one had called, made contact, or showed up. When we finally got a call from their plumber, he stated he was told NOT to come until later in the day, which, granted IS what we asked for, but were told wasn't possible. This is horrible communication, had we know they WERE able to put a note in our request, we could have saved someone from sitting around the house all day. While AHS is a nightmare to deal with and couldn't care less about anything other than getting the warranty premium, Tony made it happen and got my heater running with the outside temp at -15 and indoor at 38. AHS might have gotten something done a week or two after the pipes burst (which they wouldn't have covered). I absolutely love On Time Plumbing & Heating. The plumbing division practically lives at my house. I was provided with a warranty when I purchased the house 3mo ago (thank goodness), and OTPH is contracted through the warranty co. So far, the plumbers have been at my house AT LEAST 5x's for various issues that keep arising. Because I have had so many issues, I have started replacing things (like my sump pump) before they break. Obviously replacing a sump pump "just because" is not covered under warranty but because I like the company (the 3 different plumbing technicians and the dispatch gal - Liz) so much, I choose to continue using them even when I don't have to. I have also used OTPH on my hvac unit (liked that tech too). The technicians are always super nice, resolve the issue on the first visit, keep me informed of what's going on, their visits are quick, and they're on time! Most recently, my garbage disposal started leaking, and I didn't notice until there was water on my basement floor. I was freaking out about mold. The tech told me to call my insurance co and have them send someone to inspect for mold. I would have never thought to do that. I highly recommend OTPH! read more

He also said he had to contact the home warranty, because he saw a broken pipe. Needles to say, he never called home shield, dint get back with us, wasted the entire day waiting on him. Had to call the home warranty, tell them what happen and they are sending another company, and they can't get to us until Friday. So, instead having everything fix Tuesday, I now have to wait until Friday, not being able to use any pluming and a house that smells like sewer. Originally they were unable to schedule me in until tomorrow but since I had no heat they were able to fit me in, I was told some time between 12-4. They called at 1:00 said he would be at my house in 20 minutes (I got here in 15 & he was waiting on me). This company was dispatched as part of my home warranty with American Home Shield. My heater was not blowing out hot air and stared Tuesday night, I notified AHS and they referred me to One Time Plumbing and Heating. They called me Wednesday morning and said it would be Friday before they could see me. I explained that I had a new born child in the house and that did not matter. Upon further checking I found the problem to be with my limit switch, it had an open line. I tap it twice and it started working again. On Friday when the technician looked at it, he said that there was nothing he could do about it since it was working. He went over the 3 ways that would cause a limit switch to fail and told me that I should not have messed with it. I explain to him on 2 separate occasions that I had a new born child in the house, as he started to talk down to me and with attitude, I said look Man, I don't think you are Fu*#ing understanding, he then said that I could not talk to him like that and left. Granted I should not have dropped the F bomb, but since I was not using it personally, I don't see the issue. I am not sure if the technician that was sent even understood the process of troubleshooting since he refused to do anything. I notified AHS and they have refunded my service fee and have assured me that this so called company would not be used again. read more
