One big reason was due to the fact that we are insane pet parents of 7 dogs and oh yeah one teenager. So, in my research to find my landscaper I was drawn to Greening Landscaping and Design. I have made many stupid mistakes in my life just ask my wife but having Kody and Kevin come in and work on this project was one of the best decisions I have ever made. They came in ..got the lay of the land, asked what we were looking for, suggested ideas as well. They are 2 very easy going guys with a no pressure sales approach which is what we loved about them and they were super friendly and accommodating to us and the dogs, clean, and totally involved us the whole process. We settled on a price and off to work these gentlemen went. What truly amazed me was that it's just them two doing all the work but they work like a team of 10!! I mean they dropped over 10 tons of rock in my yard and carved out an outstanding retaining wall, stairs, and sitting area. They removed decades of brush, cut down trees, laid down soil, and seeded it. The only issue they had was mother nature due to the fact that this whole project was right in the middle of the MONSOON season we had in Milford with all the weekly rain but even then they still managed to work on something to move the project along. Do yourself a favor and call them if you have a project in mind or even just playing around with the idea, its worth it. I stated this to Cody and Kevin. The only landscapers that touch my house going forward are them. This project was phase 1 and in a few years, I will be calling them back with whatever my wife wants to do ..of course. I hired Jeremy, the owner of TLC, to remove three large trees from my property. Jeremy showed up on…read moretime for the estimate and seemed well-spoken and knowledgeable. Although TLC wasn't the cheapest estimate, I decided to go with them anyway. It was stated in the contract that I would keep all the wood, and the crew would cut it into 16"-20" pieces and stack it. On the day of the removal, the crew showed up two hours late with no phone call or text. I was nervous that they weren't going to show up, so I called Jeremy to touch base. The crew finally arrived, and I went to my neighbor's place just down the street. A few hours later, I saw two trucks leaving my lot loaded with two large tree trunks worth hundreds of dollars in hardwood. I confronted Tom, the site foreman, and he said, "I didn't think you would mind." and said he would "knock a few bucks off the price". I called Jeremy, and he apologized for his crew stealing the wood. He said this has never happed before. While we did come to a discounted price, in retrospect, I should have filed a police report. If you hire TLC, keep a very close eye on their crew. They are obviously not trustworthy. If they were willing to steal from me, it's possible that they have done the same to other customers as well.
