When I questioned him on why he charged me the credit card price he said "I don't know" and try to take the cash still without resolving the issue. When I turned the car back on it was still at 2 miles. I flagged down the attendant and he told me I definitely got gas and not to worry about it. I told him he was full of shit and I wasn't going anywhere with now 1 mile of gas left (my car was running at this point and therefore using up gas). He insisted my car was broken and that he definitely put the gas in. He showed me the receipt as though that proved anything. I told him that wasn't possible as it is a new car and I just got it serviced maybe 2 weeks ago. After arguing with him and having him tell me I'm not allowed to yell at him because I'm a "lady," I got fed up and called my roommate. He sent me some money to get gas at a different gas station and would you look at that! I got gas there with no problem. These bastards are thieves. We brought this to the helpful attendant's attention and he kindly offered to call the owner, Ahmed, since he (the owner) had left for the day. Unfortunately, Ahmed was incredibly rude and hostile, refusing even to listen (he hung up on me as I was explaining the problem). My family has been stopping at this location for years to refuel just before we cross back into New York City, but will take our business elsewhere. By the way, my car's fuel gauge works just fine. I stopped at the Mobil down the road on Route 4 and filled the tank without any problems at all.
