I paid $341.50 in advance for a full-season lawn care package from Yard Dawgs Lawn Care. Only one visit was completed. The first visit was done without any notice and was poorly executed. I posted a 1-star review at that time, which prompted a phone call from the company. After that, I removed the review in good faith. During the call and in multiple follow-up emails, I clearly explained that, due to my medical situation, I required advance notice for any future visits. This was ignored. On Canada Day, they scheduled a visit with less than 24 hours' notice, via a generic email with no time window. When I reasonably expressed frustration, I was falsely accused of using inappropriate language, and my account was immediately cancelled. This accusation is completely untrue, and I have written proof that my communication was respectful, though firm. I had to follow up twice to receive my refund. There was no apology for the false accusation or the disregard for my medical and personal needs as a senior. To make matters worse, their public response to my Google review misrepresents the situation and falsely implies misconduct on my part. I view this as retaliatory and damaging to my reputation.
