I have been with on the map for over a decade. Last year OTM was bought out by a private equity group. Since that time services have fallen off a cliff. All of a sudden I didn't have a customer service manager assigned to me (without them telling me), and my site was no longer being worked on. Since last October my site has been constantly down and I have reached out to OTM with no response. They claim they fix it only for it to be working for a day and then back down for several week. And the only reason they knew it was down was because I would tell them. OTM's failure to get my site fixed led to Google de-indexing it, killing years of my hard work to get it up in the rankings. It got so bad that a member of their senior management, Chris Meadows, reached out claiming it would be fixed and I would get a refund, only for him to ignore my texts, calls, and emails when the site was down (and of course no refund). I cannot begin to say what a disappointment this company has become. I would have recommended OTM to anyone several years ago. Now? Forget it. read more

Later, I went with another company, and it sold to investors, and my wife used them. Not only did they NOT do what they were contractually obligated to do with her, but after telling her they would not charge her, they did just that. And once it was challenged, they charged her again and again and again, fraudulently. First off (Sarah) Head of Sales will sell you a dream and tell you everything you want to hear just to get you to sign a contract. That's where things start to go down hill. Secondly (Chris) the Owner is a complete con artist. He will agree with you over the phone that work is not being delivered as promised and that they will shorten the contract or give months of work for free which they call the "SOS PROGRAM". Th Straw that broke the camels back is was when my company was building out its website. NO WORK was being done for 3 months but On The Map Media was still charging our account $3,300 a month for SEO ! We were put in contact with the Manager (Kara) she advised us that they didn't know why are account was being charged for 3 months when no (LINKS OR CONTENT) could be produced. We were also losing ranking month after month. Our team finally brought this to Kara's attention and they gave us 2 months of free work "SOS PROGRAM". All we wanted back was our last month payment after being lock in 12 month contract and not being happy after month #2. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY! When their own SEO team agreed that continued effort wouldn't make a dent (or come close to what was promised by their sales team), On The Map not only refused to refund thousands of dollars for work they admitted they did not perform but they CONTINUED TO CHARGE even though they were no longer providing services. When I finally got Visa to put a stop payment on one of my cards, On The Map switched to bill a card I had previously had them replace / get rid of. In other words, in an effort to continue to get paid for work they not only could not provide but weren't even attempting to provide, they committed clear criminal credit card fraud. I would not refer On The Map Marketing to anyone I know who is looking for a web marketing campaign team (PPC) - or to develop their website(s). I felt that Sarah McMahon and her team were more inclined to get their job done to just get paid and move on to their next projects. I felt very rushed- and un-informed. The website they built for me were not in conform with the CCPA guidelines that went into effect as of January 2020- I mean what experts in website development do not know about this? When I asked her to include this- she did not know what I was referring to at all. Most of the blog links on my website were not linked to any other website for further read. Not much thought put into the website either. It was very incomplete. As far as communication goes, I have requested Sarah and I schedule a call on a weekly basis to speak about the marketing campaign - of course, she would forget, or not follow up as promised or make up some excuse as to why she did not call that week. In the beginning she pitched this whole process of walking through the process together, but that is certainly not what my experience was. There were multiple typos on my website that was published live, which I had to point out to them as well (you would think professionals would not allow any typos to be published live).
