I spoke with a few places, and then I found Bubbles & Bows Website page. It was then that I picked up the phone and called. I left a msg, and Debbie called me within a short time. After speaking with her, I KNEW this was the place we would choose. I KNEW they would be taken care of like I do (maybe even better lol!) Debbie is awesome! She took great consideration with the fact that my pups are senior doggies. During our vacation, she called to reassure me they were doing just fine. (Talk about customer service!) By comparison of pricing, I paid a minimal amount more than the prices I found at other facilities, so my pups could have daiquiris by the pool and the treat bar ;) This is not required, but who doesn't want to spoil their puppies? The CON: For 3 days after my furkids were home, they whined and complained because they were either A. not with their friends or B. we were not Debbie! I bought my lab a baby pool to help make life back home okay again LOL. When your dogs miss their vacation spot, you know in your heart it was JUST right!!! This is truly a top-notch place, that I would highly recommend. Thank you so much Debbie! The pups can't wait for us to go on our cruise next year!!

I knew she was magical when my little nervous nelly started to get soo excited to go to daycare that as soon as we'd pull in the drive way he'd go wild trying to get in the door faster. I had a truly horrific boarding and training experience with my new puppy at a place in Charlotte recently, and I just can't say enough how every experience I ever had here at bubbles & bows was exceptional. It may be an hour away from me now, but I will never leave my babies anywhere else in the future.

I trust them implicitly with my 2 dogs. My dogs absolutely love them and their kids and all the other daycare dogs and boarders. They love to go in the morning and are so happy when I pick them up after work. Adam and Ashley are very observant of my dogs interactions with other dogs and the entire operation is very well managed. Very dependable, great communication, great people. I love the pictures they send out daily through the Paw Partner app. Lots of fun pictures showing all the personalities and very cute moments of the day. They use Paw Partner as their app for reservations, business, vaccination status, communications, etc. and it's pretty decent. Because I have 2 dogs, cost is a big deal for me. The daycare and boarding are priced right and they even do dog washes/grooming for a decent price as well. Plus I don't have to make a grooming appointment in advance for one of my days off as my dogs are already there!! I highly and 100% recommend this business. This review is long overdue. I've been using them now for almost 2 years and cannot imagine how I would manage my dogs to go to my job or go on vacation without them.

And this place deserves the praise! We'd previously taken our dog to one of the many other boarding facilities in this area and always been disappointed in the fact that (1) he wouldn't get any exercise because he's not the kind of dog to play with other dogs, he's the kind of dog who wants to walk with humans and (2) he'd always come home smelling HORRIBLE, even if the other boarding places had claimed to have bathed him. Then we found Laurel Oak, and we haven't looked back! We love that our pup gets two walks a day here, plus hours and hours of supervised play time. We love the Facebook posts showing that he's doing okay and "making friends". ;) And we love that when they say he is getting a bath, we can actually tell that he got a bath! This place is not really convenient to our home at all, but we keep going there again and again because we are so happy with the service and attention our dog gets. That alone is a testament to how great this place is.

She said they no longer use them after they had an incident regarding one, but they allow owners to bring their dogs in already wearing them. I asked about the wording of the waiver owners are required to sign, specifically asking if it had been revised so that it no longer required owners to legally consent to allowing the company to put bark collars on their dogs. She was evasive, stating she hadn't looked at the contract lately, wasn't sure if it had been revised, it was not going to be revised for the next few weeks at least, etc. I said, "Well, if you're not going to put bark collars on the dogs, then there is absolutely no reason why the company would need to keep that part in the contract, right?" She had no answer for that, other than saying "It's for owners who bring their dogs in with the bark collar already on, but we do not provide them." I said, "Well, how is it worded? Does it talk about the owner providing the bark collar, or does it require the owner to give consent for the company to put a bark collar on? Those are two very different things." She could not - or would not - answer that question. I asked her to get a copy of the contract, look at it, and read me the relevant part so we could just get clear on what the waiver actually stated. She said it was available online, but only after I signed up and signed in as a client and gave them all my information. I said, "You can't take 2 minutes to just read me the relevant part without making me go through all that?" She could not. She was busy; she had better things to do than provide minimal customer service on an important issue. Clearly, she had something to hide. My guess is that at this time the contract has not been revised and it still requires owners to legally consent to the company putting bark collars on their dogs. I'm not okay with that. I canceled my appointment. They didn't want my business enough to bother answering a simple yet important question, and I don't want to give my business to a company who requires owners to legally consent to authorizing the company to do what I view as torturing dogs, and tries to hide what they're doing. If you want humane, compassionate care for your furbaby with an above-board, honest and trustworthy company, look elsewhere. There are lots of better options.
