Most of the land surrounding our home was over grown with brush, briars and other invasive plants. His team was professional, on time, and paid attention to every detail--from the edging and plant selection to the clean finish. He also built a custom fire pit area in my backyard, and it turned out amazing. It's now the perfect spot to relax and entertain friends and family. The quality of the stonework and layout shows real craftsmanship. Do not pay attention to the backyard grass. I kept the photo because I wanted to show the stone work and plants. I kept the old grass because I have dogs who relieve themselves. Overall, his service was excellent from start to finish--fair pricing, great communication, and top-notch results. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space!

One of my huge beautiful pine trees had a fungal infection. He explained to me that the best way to keep the tree healthy was to spray it. SavATree emailed me with what needed to be done and listed the price. I felt confident because I could tell this company is a legitimate, "stand-up" type of business. I received an email that gave me a day/date and approximate time of when SavATree would be coming out to treat the tree. This company gave me SUPER / OUTSTANDING service. The tree was sprayed, and I'm optimistic that I do not have to have the tree taken down. I'm an older woman who lives in a nice area. My house is 76 years old. Many of the houses located near me are recently built, and they are large, expensive homes. I get tired of these companies that quote ridiculously high prices because of the neighborhood. Alex did not do this. By the way, the form Alex completed lists date/time he arrived and what was used on the tree. He also signed the form, wrote thank you, and added a smiley face. SavATree is an EXCELLENT COMPANY.

SavATree purchased Kaiser Tree Preservation whom we had used every few years to trim the many trees on our property. With pools in both neighbors yards, they have requested when we trim our trees, to cut back the bits that over hang their pools. I am happy to do this, and Kaiser never batted an eye lash at the request. SavATree sent their representative out to learn the scope of work we wanted done. We were repeatedly told by this representative when discussing what we wanted done 'don't worry about that' and 'you don't want to do that' and 'don't worry about the neighbors'. We received a price quote for the work the representative wanted done and none of the work we had requested. As I have to live here, I do in fact try to be a good neighbor and my trees have been trimmed the same way for over a decade without harming them. SaveATree assigns representatives to an 'area', so I am not able to get a new quote from them for the work I want. It's sad because I really liked working with Kaiser and their 'tree preservation' business model. Now I have to begin my search for a new tree service provider that actually cares about the health of my trees. Not an easy find.

The first load, several years ago, seemed to contain larger pieces, and less 'debris', but as it has been years, it honestly could be the same, so take that with a grain of salt if you will. There is a delay of weeks between ordering kiln dried and delivery. Just about the time I was expecting the delivery, I received a call that they had the truck loaded up and the recipient refused the order due to some emergency, and would I be available to take it. It happened that I was home, and available to stack wood on the day he called, so I accepted the load. It does seem to be a full load, that is, 1 cord, and as I stated, the pieces all seem a bit on the small side: not in length, but in girth. Kiln dried is, as stated, dried, so the pieces are smaller- that is expected. These just seem a bit too small from memory of the last delivery. We have had an opportunity to burn a couple of times and the wood lights right up and burns longer as kiln dried does without needing to restock the insert. All in all, we are happy to have kiln dried firewood. the delivery was within the timeline expected, the driver accepts cash or check (no credit cards) and he dumped it right where we asked him to without incident.
