I called about a week in advance to book my hair appointment with Eunice. I can tell right away…read morejust from my initial conversation with her that she was very experienced and knowledgeable about hair care. I was looking for a salon to get my annual digital perm. I was convinced that she was someone I could trust with my hair and to help me get the digital perm that I wanted so I booked my appointment with her. I was already warned that digital perms would take a long time so she told me to block out about 3-4 hours. Before starting anything, she checked the health of my hair and also talked through cutting my hair before starting the digital perm process. I appreciated how she knew what lengths and the type of haircut that would best suit me as the digital perm would grow out in the future. I also showed her my digital perms from the past that I liked and didn't like (from other salons that I had gone to) and we were in agreement as to what kind of perm, length, and shape she was going to aim for. She pays great care to details and even made sure that she had the correct intensity of chemicals to make sure that she preserved the health of my hair while perming it. I really appreciated her taking her time to make sure that she was thorough and careful to make sure that this was going to be worthy of my investment. She explained each step of the perm process as she was doing each step. She takes great pride in her work and wanted to make sure that she was also satisfied with her work. Although it was a long morning, she took great care to make sure that I was comfortable and even offered coffee/beverages while I waited. Eunice is so incredibly sweet and is so much fun and easy to talk to. Digital perms in general are pricey, but it's because there is a lot of labor and preparation that goes into perms that are done correctly and done well. I feel like her price point was fair considering her thoroughness and care throughout the process. I definitely plan to come back again next year and I am so glad that I found someone I can confidently trust and go back to for my annual digital perm.

She shares her gift not through paintings but through hair sculpting. You can sit in her chair and relay your own ideas of a haircut or tell her to use her own expertise and either way you will leave looking like a work of art. But not only can she cut, she can color too. She's been trying to make me do something crazy but my conservative job won't let me come in with anything wild - but I have seen some of her color jobs and they are AMAZING. Vibrant, healthy, good-looking hair. She also does an amazing job on highlights and color-the-grays-away that my hair desperately needs every other month. And the gauge of a truly great hair stylist is knowing how to cut super curly, super fluffy hair - like my daughter's hair. Julie does amazing with hard to please preteen girls who have very specific ideas of how their hair should look. My daughter makes her own appointments and she is extremely happy each time she gets her hair did!
