I was with Bryce Holder for almost 30 years and when he sold to BCS I was assured I would receive…read morethe same level of service as it was their "goal" to build "relationships". So, I decided to stay with the firm and at the beginning it was not bad. However today I got a letter telling me that after more than 35 years they would no longer keep me as client because they could not handle the load in the area. As you might have noticed, after 35 years, I am loyal and believe in those I need to trust. I am about to retire which would require significant help from my "trusted" accountants. However, there is no loyalty with BCS and therefore no trust. They misled folks about the engagement and their desire to build relationships. They can't be trusted and there is no loyalty which puts its clients at risk. Find another accountant would be my advice before you are cut loose by the Johnson City elite. These are not the people you want watching your back when it counts. None of us need fair weather friends in our corner.

When our local accountant, Bryce Holder, combined his business with BCS, I was worried we wouldn't…read morereceive the same customer care and that their prices would increase. However, I've been very satisfied with their timeliness, communication, skill, costs, and customer care. I'd give them an A!

Once I became upset (cried...so embarrassing) and I pressed the issue only then someone who actually knew what they were doing became a part of the conversation and it was made clear checks from a trust do not require a hold. They made me so upset for no reason. I would NOT recommend this bank.

It's taken me some time to piece together the level of gratitude I have for Jason Harman and his…read moreteam. If you ever find yourself in a legal bind, these are the people to work with, and I don't say anything I'm about to say lightly. If you screwed up, made a mistake, and are now dealing with the repercussions of your situation, it's not only the smartest thing you can do, but your safest option but to reach out and have them represent you. We all make mistakes, no matter how big or small. The amount of grace I've been given as a result of honest and proper communication, calling and checking up when I need to, just know that you never have to deal with your situation alone. It might suck at first, and you might worry way too much about your situation, but this firm, they WILL work with you. Just like anything else important in life, you HAVE to make sure you're keeping up with the firm. Make the responsible choice and give them a call at the very least. Jason and his team, especially Emma, are an absolute 10 for being extremely helpful throughout my mishap and I'll forever be grateful for their help. And no, I did not use AI to write this. Straight from the chest folks!!
