Rant to On Point Collision repair. What an absolute joke of a business. For starters I came here because of good reviews and was recommended by friends. They also offered a great price, but man did I get what I paid for. For starters the initial estimated time was supposed to 3-5 days. I brought my car in Febuary initially, they ended up keeping it for 2 weeks and failed to communicate at all. I had to call each time to see what was up. When I picked the car up the first time there was buffing compound and black tacky stuff from the door plastic all over the door jam. They also damaged the outside molding piece while removing and reinstalling it and keft a huge gap you could fit your finger in between. There was flake in the paint as it looked like it was painted outside, there was nothing they could do at the time as the paint had to cure so I made an appointment to come back. I left a review about my experience and when I went to drop off the second time Martin told me that he almost didn't feel like honoring their "lifetime warranty" because of the bad review. He ended up taking the car and this time I had it back in 3 days which was good, however at time of pick up there was a clear run in the paint and when I pointed it out they tried to buff it and burnt through the clear. As well as the door molding piece was put on with massive tape so it clearly stuck out. So now have to wait and make a third appointment. This time I drop off this last Monday and was originally told 3 days, at drop off im told some of his guys are calling in late. I dropped by around 4pm the same day to grab some headphones and they hadn't even pulled the car in. I also asked him to make sure they tape off some new mudflaps i had put on because you cannot find replacments for them, they failed to do so and got overspray on them.I just picked up today and when I got there I noticed a run on the rear door (from their work on the second visit) and Martins response to me was that it "wasn't worth his time" fixing it as that wasn't part of the original estimate, even though it was caused by their work lol. Not only that but they damaged my door panel and lost a trim piece and sat there and argued with me about it. Martin sends me a picture thats supposed to prove it wasn't there and you could see it in the picture! Absolutely mind blowing. My car is older and I definitely didn't expect perfection, but you can tell there is 0 pride in their work at all. Martin made unprofessional comments to me about me wanting the "car detailed" and that he "knew I was looking for something" when I was looking at the work they did. On top of my bad experience when I picked up the second time there was a couple of people in his office screaming at him about the amount of time they had their car and the lack of communication. I think they ended up damaging more stuff than they fixed which sucks because its hard getting parts for these older cars. read more
