OSG is they are a mid sized company that functions like the New York City Department of Motor vehicles...everyone is pretty much herded through the process without regard for the individual. I have no doubt that they actually care, but their execution is piss poor in my opinion. If you call, prepare to press about 1000 options before you are transferred to someone who transfers you to someone else who then transfers you to someone's voice mail. FUGGEDABOUT speaking to an actual doctor (HAHAHAHAHAAAA!). They are too busy. The only person who you can leave a message for is the doctor's assistant who probably WON'T call you back. I have had three experiences with this office. The first time after I broke my ankle. It was a pretty decent experience....they tried to "upsell" me all kinds of crap after diagnosing my break, which I did not need. It left me feeling pretty uncomfortable, kind of like the icky feeling you get after dealing with a used car salesman? The second time was after severe pains in my back after an exercise injury. I was unable to move and they prescribed a ton of medication and physical therapy. After repeated calls back and forth to schedule the physical therapy, I just gave up and tried to mend on my own. Why you ask? I left so many voice mails and called to schedule appointments so many times I figured the stress was aggravating the injury even more because I was so tense. I took my meds and sat my tush down. The 3rd time I went back after the back injury flared up again. I was actually able to see a doctor this time and he was great....too bad I've been trying to speak with him again (2.5 weeks and counting), about some problems with my medication, to no avail. The defenders of his phone line keep telling me I don't need to speak to him I need to speak with his assistant. HUH? The assistant I've never met, who does not return phone calls and who does not have a medical degree? I guess that person is more qualified to tell me nothing than the doctor is. In any event, it has been two weeks and every call I make is to bitch some more. Hopefully when I go back next week for my follow up, and pony up my copay I can remind the doctor that his liable for the wonderful treatment I've received thus far as my condition is further exacerbated. Rant over....find a smaller, less "busy" office, that actually cares about you and your well being. I know I am looking. They seriously need to determine if they want to be a fancy office that caters to athletes and the like or if they want to be doctors and GASP help someone....perhaps do no harm?

Office rep Stacy asked me to "drop off the paperwork" after 1 week from the surgery. My insurance faxed them the paperwork needed 4 times, but Stacy insisted that I go in. I called multiple people to see if they could do an exception since I could not drive and they all refused to help. I was in tears at this point. I went in a week later for the following appointment and I got verbally attacked by the staf. I found that very unprofessional. I was in pain, depressed because I can't move freely, concerned that my insurance was not going to get the paperwork in time, but i was never rude or unprofessional with them. I can not understand how they are allowed to treat their sick patients like that.

Even with disk issues I learned by going to Dr Mike, my pain was all muscle related. After one month of treatment I walk and move normal, feel great, and work with out wearing a brace. Dr Mike will do thorough evaluation and treatment plan with modalities specifically for you. If needed, he will refer you back to orthopedic if there are underlying issues that need to be addressed. I completed online all my paper work, scheduled the initial assessment and then heard nothing. When I called them for my Milford appointments, they told me they did not have any and I would need to continue with Hamden. This is a trek from Milford and I was 2 weeks post op and unable to drive yet. Luckily, I was able to find another practice in Milford that was able to see me when I needed to begin. Not impressed.

When I requested documentation and copies of my medical records, staff could not provide them. Being denied urgent orthopedic care while in significant pain because of an unverified billing dispute was both shocking and disappointing. Patient care should come before collections, especially when the practice cannot immediately substantiate the debt they're demanding payment for.

I very rarely post reviews about Doctors. In fact, I think this is my first one…read more So this is s Sports Medicine Doctor and you can both make an appointment and/or do the walk in. I did the Walk In. The experience was pretty bad. First off this place gets packed but the way it's run..people hearded in and out, everyone jammed around, etc..it is hectic and impersonal to the point of utter chaos but I get that and that isn't really my number one complaint much as I was so turned off by it. So my injury was a broken knee and a torn ACL. But I did not know that when I went in. They ARE supposed to be Sports Medicine Doctors. The verdict after they saw me? Go home and be careful for a day or two, nothing serious. I requested an X-Ray. Or an MRI. I was told one was not needed. So I did go home. And two days later I fell when my knee, which had been broken though I was not aware of it, buckled causing me to crash to thew floor. Went to another doctor who did an X-ray. When he saw nothing, he did an MRI and there the broken Knee and torn ACL were found. I am not trying to scare anyone, just warn them. If you come here and they dismiss your concerns, do not just accept it. Get a second opinion or if you really feel something is off insist on additional tests. It maybe nothing but then again it maybe something as it was for me. I will say it isn't that the doctor wasn't nice. In fact he was pleasant and I do not even remember the name of who I saw. But these people..to me anyway..gave the impression of being overworked in a crowded office and I am glad I got a second opinion otherwise it could have been even worse for me. So do your due diligence and trust your gut.

When I would place his right foot on the next step he almost didn't have enough strength to lift himself and I had to assist him. An Orthopedic, after xrays and examination, determined that in his opinion my son had Cerebral Palsy and referred him to Neurology along with Physical Therapy. My son underwent brain MRI, Genetic Testing, etc but nothing was conclusive. I decided to take my son to Dr Braglia who simply examined my son's spine and determined a considerable amount of misalignment and slightly twisted pelvis, that anyone would THINK an Orthopedic should have discovered upon examination. Dr Braglia thereupon performed his spinal manipulation from Head to toe on my son. After the first adjustment, my son ran perfectly straight, the floppy right foot disappeared, and he climbs steps normally Left, Right, Left and Right again. After being told my son was going to suffer the rest of his life with Cerebral Palsy only to have Dr Braglia adjust him ONE TIME to have his mobility normal again. Words aren't enough to explain the IMPORTANCE of Chiropractic Medicine to be entwined with the normal growth of children. I possess videos of before and after one adjustment. It is amazing, and I will alway regret that I did not include Chiropractic Medicine for my son since his birth.
