My 3 year old son started to run sideways and his right foot was sought of flopping. He started…read moreclimbing stairs using his left leg only. When I would place his right foot on the next step he almost didn't have enough strength to lift himself and I had to assist him. An Orthopedic, after xrays and examination, determined that in his opinion my son had Cerebral Palsy and referred him to Neurology along with Physical Therapy. My son underwent brain MRI, Genetic Testing, etc but nothing was conclusive. I decided to take my son to Dr Braglia who simply examined my son's spine and determined a considerable amount of misalignment and slightly twisted pelvis, that anyone would THINK an Orthopedic should have discovered upon examination. Dr Braglia thereupon performed his spinal manipulation from Head to toe on my son. After the first adjustment, my son ran perfectly straight, the floppy right foot disappeared, and he climbs steps normally Left, Right, Left and Right again. After being told my son was going to suffer the rest of his life with Cerebral Palsy only to have Dr Braglia adjust him ONE TIME to have his mobility normal again. Words aren't enough to explain the IMPORTANCE of Chiropractic Medicine to be entwined with the normal growth of children. I possess videos of before and after one adjustment. It is amazing, and I will alway regret that I did not include Chiropractic Medicine for my son since his birth.

I was trying to get an appointment…read morewith a well known Chiropractor in the area but he was simply too busy to accept new patients. He suggested that I call his chiropractor, Craig O'Connell, so I did and he has never disappointed me. My husband was going to Yale for a back injury injury that seemed to be getting worse despite painful injections and pills. They said his only option was surgery that would require a year to recover from and restrict his to lifting no more that 25 lbs. He was only 24! I did some research and decided to try a Chiropractor. Craig examined him, took x-rays and said he couldn't repair the damage but he thought he could treat the symptoms, relieve his pain and help him manage the injury. He said he wanted to see him 3 times a week for 8 weeks, but, in 6 visits he would know if he could help him. Craig is a therapeutic Chiropractor, he doesn't do hard adjustments unless you ask and he puts emphasis on Prevention. How the way you move and stand can affect you, especially in jobs that require standing, lifting and repetitive motions. After 4 weeks he reduced the visits to twice a week, by the end of 6 weeks Mark was a different person with no pain and almost full range of motion. He went back for "touchups" whenever he felt that he overdid it but this was light years away from what he expected and we are both grateful. I have had some back stress and a painful, traumatic injury from work but Craig was always there when I called for help and ergonomic suggestions to help me at work. He is a kind, generous man who is dedicated to his practice and his patients. I honestly cannot say enough good things about him and I dread his retirement which I hope is a long way off.

I have been seeing him as needed since 1987. I am currently seeing him for an injury acquired at a Physical Therapy facility. They injured my back treating my foot. Their remedial treatment of my back was not consistent nor especially helpful so I ended up back with Dr. O'Connell. One part of his comprehensive and personal treatment is taking the time to acquaint himself with his patients and learn the particulars about them that may affect their treatment and recovery. You will never find yourself hooked up to a machine and left alone staring at the ceiling. He will change your life if you let him and teach you how to remain healthy and avoid future visits. One look at the photo Bethany chose to represent herself to the world pretty much tells me what I need to know about her. I have always rather appreciated the fact that unlike most doctors, Dr. O'Connell would not expect me to come up with the cash before being treated or even seated every time I needed to see him, but would bill me for what my insurance did not cover, and basically allow me to pay at my convenience. There is good reason the Doctor does not need to advertise his business.
