There are several machines of varying sizes and they range from around 3 pounds to five pounds. They also have several large dryers that are about 1 pound each 10 minutes. They are all in good working order. They will also provide serviced laundry if you can't stay and watch your clothes. We set our machines and went to a fish and chip shop recommended by one of the owners. Overall a very pleasant and easy experience. Thanks!

And to be honest it was an experience, taking my black bag with clothes in, i was slightly nervous to begine with as there was about four old ladies in there and the stares i got when i first walked in, i nearly just turned around, but before i could do that, one of the ladies said, you look like you are new to this, love she then went on to show me how to work the machine, she was agreat women, i found out later that she actually works there and provides all types of cleaning service in there also. I put the washing on and then went over the road to the shop, got myself a magazine and a bag of malteesers and chilled out for an hour while my washing and drying was done, it was really nice, i got a loverly hour of peace and quiet, the ladies were loverly and ended up having a really good chat with them, they explain that this laundrette was also apart of their social life as well as getting their undies washed. There are six machines and then four dryers, they are all big in size, and i think the cost was a pound per machine. It was very very clean with a few chairs in order to sit down, and the smell of fresh laundry is loverly. I think that in emmergencies then this place is great.

My last pair of clean underwear was two days ago and we haven't stayed in one place long enough to wash a pair or two out!! We are having a great time but DESPERATE to do laundry, Brights Launderette was literally a "Bright" Spot in our travels. Helen is extremely helpful and nice - she had change, helped show how the machines worked, both the washers and the dryers were quick and efficient and (if you're visiting from out of town) plenty of places near by to get a little bite of something to eat while you wait. If you want to stay at the launderette there's also plenty of places to sit and read. Finally, if you're from out of town and staying in Nottinghams town center it's a pleasant 15 minute walk (we used our luggage on wheels to transport the laundry) but I'm pretty sure buses go right by there too. Definitely recommend it.
