My sweetheart - who had very little yoga experience - and I wanted to experience partner yoga so we booked for a private session. Clare showed up on time and was very warm and personable. We were a little nervous going in, but soon were having fun. The instruction was easy to follow and Clare was very patient with us even when we felt discouraged by the more challenging poses. I have some physical limitations and Clare was able to smoothly work with my body. We even got to do some fun acro yoga! I felt very comfortable with Clare and it was a fun, bonding experience for my sweetheart and me. I have training as an educator and I can confidently say that Clare is a stellar instructor - knowledgeable, adaptable, and able to communicate clearly. I would definitely recommend giving Clare a try!

I'm new to yoga in general and have been trying a lot of new places…read more I tried a regular studio and was like ehhh. Found a Groupon for hot yoga - read about the benefits and decided let's do this!!! I tried a few of the classes on the unlimited month. The sumits 60 was not the first class I should of been trying - wish I could eventually build up to that level though. The restore and relax classes are nice when you just want to relax and stretch and enjoy the heat. My favorite class is with Joni on Wednesday mornings - the slow and flow class. It's just slow enough to keep up for me but not too fast and I love her enthusiasm and loooove the hot yoga aspect. Try it out.

They have a very diverse range of classes, included a heated Pi-Yo class that is SUPER challenging and includes a lot of cardio. Their sumit flows are great and so are their late night stretching classes. The teachers are lovely and do a great job of making the classes challenging and also relaxing. It is definitely a non-judgmental space as well! There is a great Groupon available right now that I recommend and their community classes are $9 which is pretty accessible.

I have friends and my sister who all said they would join if they were open a little later. Other than the hours, it's an amazing gym! Being female only, I get amazing workouts in, stretching, take yoga, and find myself there for 2-3 hours when I have the time!

Sanitizing throughly before each class and handing out wipes during class to clean equipment when finished. I've been a big believer in Orangetheory for awhile now. No workout works as well as Orangetheory when it comes to burning calories and making a healthy life change. So glad to have One in Lawrence!

His prescription of external rotation exercises fixed a shoulder I've been struggling with for over 8 years. Unfortunately, the best trainers in town left the gym, and Genesis now employs far inferior, corporate-controlled trainers and cold, impersonal front desk personnel. They all look good in their preppy Genesis polo shirts, so I guess that's what counts. Unfortunate! So I decided to take a look at Athletic Strength Institute. I would encourage everyone who belongs to Genesis to drop your membership and come check out ASI. The owner makes you feel welcome. He is knowledgeable, motivating, and plans individual workouts to fit each of his client's needs. It may not be the biggest gym in town in terms of square footage, but it is the best in terms of what really counts... results.
