They should have taken the hit, but they charged me. And the charge out the door was more than it should have been. Then I went and purchased a helmet from them. After a one month break in, the helmets too large. No one measured the size of my head. No one mentioned anything about a break-in period. They knew I was brand new to motorcycles and helmets. The only reason I didn't go to Montgomeryville Cycle it's because they didn't have the model I wanted. The only person there that was decent was the finance guy. He tried to talk the owner into eating the extra credit charge but they wouldn't. Do not buy from these people. I hope they lose a lot of sales over this review.

What comes as a red flag is their reaction when I decided to not go through with the purchase of a bike. At the end of the day, It was more out of budget than I wanted and I wanted to avoid making an emotional purchase for what was indeed a pristine vehicle (although sight unseen). I asked if I could have my deposit back. John was busy with a customer, however another employee started to defend how they should actually keep my deposit of $500, a deposit where I was NOT told was not refundable, had NOT signed any paperwork, nor even gave a word of commitment that I would be actually making a purchase of the vehicle. I understand the work to make a sale, but thinking about it, should this not be standard work to make a sale? It is especially not $500 dollars worth of labor, in the words of the employee that berated me for backing out and walking away from the expensive bike. He claimed that they spent time taking the bike off of listing (which I confirmed, day of, that they did not), taking pictures and sending me videos (which is still not $500 worth of labor). He basically used some backwards Mob method of bullying me, saying that "I should take this as a lesson" and proceeded to act like they were entitled to my $500. This really made me uncomfortable, and although I can very much call a chargeback on them, I just want to warn everyone of this dealership and business. They make assumptions about you for being hesitant on making a purchase, like as if you have no money... what a sad way to treat people. People, stay away from this store. Sure they have nice bikes from time to time, but they should not be treating people this way.

Long story short, the bike needed work, tires, tag mount, and I was told he couldn't do anything until that was done. I wasted over 2 hours, driving, an hour there, and was ready to buy it outright on the spot. All in all it was a nice bike he had on consignment so I told him ok, let me know when it's ready and I'll be back. Week goes by nothing. So I text him and say, hey is the bike ready? He says they got approval from the owner and repairs should be done soon. Another almost week goes by, nothing. I drove 4.5 hours round trip to another dealership. I walked in, talked with the salesman (he knew I was coming), filled out paperwork, paid cash, and was on my way. As of this review that 2024 KTM Enduro R is still for sale there and I haven't heard a thing.
