This was one of the worst nail salon experiences I've had in a long time. We made an appointment for 3:30, but weren't seated until after 4:00. The pedicure water was cold, and it was a hassle to get them to warm it up. One person in our group didn't even have their water started until five minutes after everyone else. During my pedicure, the technician filed the back of my heel so aggressively that it started bleeding. They also didn't have the nail colors we wanted, and the prices were nearly double what I pay back home. To make matters worse, one of my nails broke the very next day--a first for me after wearing nails for over two years without issues. When I called to have it fixed and returned the next day, they made me wait over 30 minutes while continuing to take walk-ins within five minutes of arriving. The staff was unfriendly and clearly talking about my sisters and me. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, and I will not be returning. read more

RUDE. Attitude sucks. They want to do to your nails what THEY want. If you even suggest a different process (that doesn't hurt) they complain about it to each other and then get pushy while they process you. I wish Big Rapids had some better choices. read more

They get rude if you even ask how much a pedicure is then they say they can take you in over the phone then you get there and wait 45 min with your feet in water. I really don't want to give this any stars. Horrible customer service. I had an 11:00 appointment and I got there and they were clueless. How hard is that. Me and another lady were waiting and they took 3 people ahead of us with no appointments. I asked about that and they said we will be right with you. 30 minutes later and I left. I live 30 miles one way so I wanted to make sure I had an appointment. Please people do not support this horrible business. You can not treat people any way you choose. As you can see, my cuticles are bleeding, my one friend has uneven nail shape, and my other friend has too short of nails. The salon is very nice and clean. However, we waited over half an hour after our appointment time to sit down. Then each nail tech was rushing, my friend said her nail tech skipped the cuticle oil and lotion at the end. All of us were unhappy when leaving. Wouldn't really recommend going here unless you like uneven nails. read more

I have never had a worse nail experience in my life. I have gone to the salon several times and will never go back. To begin with, I made an appointment and when I got there, I had to wait at least 20 minutes. This is the second time this has happened. Why take appointments if you're not going to honor them? I think they're just afraid of losing the business and tell people to come in whenever they want and expect them to wait. I went two weeks ago and got a pedicure and dip on my nails, and spent well over $100. My nails did not hold up at all for some reason. I went back last week to get dip done again. I explained they didn't hold up but didn't complain or expect anything in return. I asked for dip again. The girl questioned whether I really wanted dip and suggested I get shellac. I told her I did not want shellac. She started to take my nails off using a fake nail and prying it between the dip and my nails. It hurt, but I didn't say anything. After several nails, I asked if she should soak them. She said she was going to do it that way. After several more, I told her to stop because it hurt. I have never told a nail tech that something hurt so it clearly hurt a lot and it's not good for your nails. I asked her to soak them off. In the of taking my dip off, she broke several of my natural nails, which then required tips, which I was charged for. She asked if I wanted Shellac again and I said no. At some point, she then suggested acrylic and I said no and asked if there were some reason she didn't want to do dip. She said she would do what I wanted. I have no idea why it took me to get angry to get the product I requested. She had to add tips to several nails and then filed my nails without asking what shape I wanted them so they were all different shapes and length's. She had to cut them all down to shape them how I wanted. She did not hear them with a light at the end, which leads me to believe she wasn't even using tip, but probably was using acrylic. When she finally got them done and I went to check out, she suggested I leave a cash tip and not charge it. So very disappointed. read more

I have given OMG Nails many chances and have yet to be satisfied with the quality of their work or their staff. I am actually currently sitting here having 2 nails fixed that only lasted 2 days before breaking! This has been a common occurrence with this salon. When I was having my nails done originally, the technician was busy watching reels on her FB page while she was doing them. As I looked at my nails when I left, I noticed she left small black brush hairs in the dip on my nails which show through the dip color! She also cut them so short they hurt. 2 days later, 2 broke and here I sit having them repaired. They actually wanted to cut them shorter! In addition, they only did 1 later of dip and didn't finish them off. Therefore, the color doesn't match my other nails and they are rough, not smooth and shiny! As they are fixing them, I realize this will be my last time here. Customer service was awful as they were not at all pleasant or apologetic for the condition of these horrible looking nails and were actually pretty rude about having to repair them. I've had great experiences when I come here. I always call ahead, make my appointment and come about 5-10min early. I truly enjoy getting my nails done. I've seen some reviews complain about various aspects but I haven't had any of these experiences. I usually come with an idea in mind of what I want and there has only been ONE time I was happy with the outcome. Tip: I learned that if you want a design that is ORIGINALLY on long nails & ask for it on short nails, you should adjust expectations accordingly ‍ just my opinion! read more

Save yourself the time and money of going here. I've been getting my nails done at a different salon out of state for years with dip powder, never had a problem until I moved here and starting going to OMG. My first set of nails cracked in multiple places, decided to give them a second chance and got this orange set done. Another nail cracked within three days and now I have three nails in total with cracks in them only 10 ten days after my appointment. Not only that but my nails look so overgrown for only being on for 10 days. They blamed it on my nails not being strong enough instead of their products (which are probably old/out dated). Like I said, never had an issue with dip powder at any other salon like I've had issues over the last month, really disappointed. read more

I paid full price after waiting a full hour after my appointment time to even get started. The tech almost cut my finger with Scissors, covered my finger tips in glue which I am still trying to scrap off. All my nails are different widths at the end and the polish looks like absolute crap, I wanted coffin shaped. And she never had me rinse my hand so the powder kept getting into the polish and she had to keep re-polishing. I wanted a foil accent nail but instead she just slapped on a line of glitter polish without even trying the foil and then was annoyed when I made her take it off... worst experience I've had there but unfortunately I have never had a good one and I'm done. every photo I showed them i was told they couldn't do, or it was too expensive, they could only do two nails with stripes and then I finally picked something VERY basic, a thin black French tip with a nail bed thin arch line at the base... and she did a chunky black tip... the ladies walking around were rude, told me they didn't have the color I showed, a basic pinky/nude color... asked for almond shape, they are thick, VERY round and, she made one of my fingers bleed. Booked an appointment for an acrylic manicure and pedicure with Hannah. Got to the salon and Hannah told me she was "too busy" to do my nails and said Kim will do my pedicure first and Hannah said she would do my manicure after. Kim was very rough with my feet and kept aggressively grabbing my feet out of the water. Get to the manicure chair where Kim explained she will be doing my manicure as well. Kim then demanded that I do dip powder instead of acrylic. Whatever.. Kim then became angry as she couldn't do my nails like I asked. Kim asked another lady to come and file my nails as she couldn't do it. I asked Kim to cut my nails shorter as I can't have very long nails while working in a hospital and Kim became very angry and the rest of my appointment kept saying "too short" under her breath. Once my nails were done, I was way overcharged for my service. Will not be going back as I had a horrible experience. read more

Great place. Was in town for a wedding and decided to get my nails done last minute - literally the day of the wedding. Front desk girls were so sweet and got me right in, no hassle at all. They use very dirty equipment, and when I confronted them about it had the audacity to claim it wasn't possible to clean it (their electric nail files, which can be cleaned.) They also claim their nail files/Emory boards are single use, but they are not. The one used on me was already white from other people's nails. Again, they tried to claim it was new. As for the manicure itself, it was not worth $45 dollars. Don't waste your money here, it's just not worth it. read more

This is my favorite nail salon! I go here about every 3 weeks for a manicure and fresh acrylics. The nail technicians are all so nice and great at their jobs. The prices are probably the best part of this place. I can get a full set of acrylics with shellac for $35. The place is fairly large for a nail salon and has a lot of desks. I usually make an appointment a couple hours in advance. OMG Nails & Spa makes me feel so pampered! Highly recommend! read more

We set this appointment up for my daughter and i over a month ago, Called a week before to confirm We got there today and she has no idea who I am.They said they do not have an appointment for me. We are getting our nails done for a trip that we were taking the next day and there were 10 people waiting that would be ahead of us. I had to call around to other places and get our nails done somewhere else because we did not have hours to wait Even though we had an appointment that they never wrote down. They said we may have called a different OMG nail salon however I double checked my car records and both times I called them. I went into this place and they got me right in no problem! I've had my nails done plenty of times. They completely rushed through my nails and skipped steps in the process to get the next appointment before close. The lady did not listen to anything I wanted and was rude when I asked her to change what was done and tried convincing me it was fine. Leaving the salon my nails were pretty mediocre. I saw the bad reviews and figured a good one was in order. They did a great job. The woman who did my nails was very friendly. The owner was there and he even stepped up to ask how the service was and if the water was too hot. They have a ton of options and explained services I had not used before and I left very happy. $30 for my nails paint to last a month is well worth it. I almost went with gel polish but the technician explained that the dip is much better and she was right! I will definitely be going back! read more
