Paid for VIP since 2016 and in the past year-plus received really no service except 5 minutes of spraying around the yard. Have now learned their service exacerbated a German Roach and ant problem, which destroyed our less than year-old dishwasher, exacerbated an allergic reaction by a family member, caused a major household budget disruption with more than $1,000 spent for treatment, the purchase of a new dishwasher, and loss of discarded household items. Pathetic.

Run Away from Active/Rentokil/Terminix…read more I've had service with this company for years. The first two techs I had were fantastic. It's been quite literally nose-dive downhill ever since. Poor tech behavior (I've had to have one completely barred from my home). Inspectors who don't fully do their job. While I appreciate hearing - in 3-hour detail standing in my living room - about your Frenchie breeding business, you didn't take a single note to get me the estimate on the work I needed done. It took 3 months to get somebody to get me the estimate so I can get the work done. The second inspector told me it was bc the first one thought he couldn't close a sale. Clearly he doesn't know how bc the second one got the business, no problem. The two people who have always been professional & consistent: Princess & Stacy. I appreciate you both. But this takes the cake: Finally got the work done. Well, partially, bc the 2nd tech that was supposed to show up & help Stacy never showed, so the work isn't complete. But what did Active do? They charged my checking account - ON CHRISTMAS EVE - for the ENTIRE amount of the work (a 4 figure job, for reference) to my checking account instead of the GreenSky financing account I opened to pay for the work. CHRISTMAS. RUINED. Liquid cash? Gone. On a holiday. Account in SHAMBLES bc you better believe the rest of my bills continued to pull from the account. Disaster is not even the word to describe this. I called at least 5 times + multiple emails to get somebody to call me and face me to deal with this. Nobody ever called back. You can't contact someone local at "your local pest control experts" (that's what's on the phone greeting) to deal with it like adults. No urgency in fixing THEIR ERROR for a contracted, years-long customer. I used to be able to speak to someone in the local office. Their new phone system doesn't allow that. You can only have customer service send a message to ask them to call you back. So much for that "local" part. Imagine behaving like this when running a multi-million dollar business where you just acquired/merged with Terminix to make you even bigger? You don't DESERVE to be bigger. You deserve to be sanctioned. And you absolutely deserve this review. I'll eventually be switching companies but considering it's the holidays & I don't have my money back yet or the mental energy to do this error-correcting labor, it's not at the top of my list. Will be on the lookout for New Years specials from their competitors though.

Thank you I am…read morecurrently renting a home in Dallas Georgia where I'm responsible for pest control. I thought I could manage with the DIY kit I bought from Facebook and all that it killed were crickets. It wasn't until I found a wasp nest under one of the alcoves on the front of my house and having to kill a spider, with babies pouring out of it that I finally realized enough is enough!! My sister lives in the area and recommended a chain service, but I found their online reviews to be consistently negative. So, I did some research on Yelp and Google and found Hole-In-One Pest Solutions. I wish I had called earlier as I continue to put this off despite having additional spiders coming through various cracks, corners, doorways, etc. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and kind. Super easy to talk to and helped me set up my first pest control appointment. I've always lived in an apartment so I've never had to deal with this before. I appreciated her patience and compassion as I explained my terrifying wolf spider story. Within just a couple days (due to my schedule) I had a tech out at my place. He listened attentively to the issues, and after a walk around the perimeter we agreed to a treatment plan and price. (Side note - a big turn off and red flag for me is when companies try to guilt or scare you into a subscription or additional services. This was NOT the case. Thank you for treating me fairly and not taking advantage of a first time homeowner/renter. I will always respect the integrity of a company that stands behind their services and work to create value added packages without the over the top sales pressure, and that starts from the top, so kudos to your management!!) I would recommend Trace and the team at Hole in One Pest control to anyone in their service area. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I contracted with Peachtree Pest Control's Wildlife Division earlier this summer, and unfortunately…read morethe experience was defined by poor scheduling, communication failures, and bad follow-through. The sales process was smooth, although in hindsight I believe I may have purchased more than I needed. After that, the problems started. Regular pest-control technicians were sent to my home even though I had contracted for wildlife services, and these technicians could not perform wildlife work. They also confused appointments, including sending a technician when I had never been told a visit was scheduled. When the wildlife work was finally scheduled, I took off work to be home. The crew arrived and told me the electricity to the house had to be disconnected before they could proceed. No one had told me that in advance, so the appointment had to be rescheduled. I then arranged with the utility company to disconnect my power and took additional time off work. When the next Peachtree technician arrived, I was told the power did not actually need to be disconnected. The work was completed while I was left sitting in a house without electricity waiting for the utility company to return and reconnect service. I was also told they would return in about two weeks to remove the one-way wildlife exclusion device installed on the house. Instead, it remained there for roughly two and a half months and was only removed after repeated calls. Eventually, I canceled the service and repeatedly asked to speak with management. I called approximately six times. I eventually spoke with a field manager who was already familiar with my property because he had personally come out to remove the exclusion device. He said he would escalate my concerns to two people above him and that someone would contact me. That was about a week ago, and no one has. At this point, I have given up trying to get the company to address the experience directly. My dissatisfaction is not based on one mistake. It is the cumulative result of the wrong technicians being dispatched, appointment confusion, unnecessary loss of electrical service, multiple days of missed work, a promised two-week follow-up taking roughly two and a half months, and repeated difficulty getting management involved. Whatever the underlying cause, my experience with the Wildlife Division was far more difficult and time-consuming than it should have been. I would recommend using anyone else.
