Omega parking next to champys in chattanooga is a sham. Very little sinage that it is is paid parking and it just looks like parking for the restaurant. Several of us were from out of town and we all got tickets not because we didn't want to pay but because we had no idea it was paid parking. Totally unethical company. I paid my parking of $9.45. I was sent a violation requesting $40. I disputed this through their website with a screenshot of my cc being charged. They denied the dispute 4 separate times. The final time, they closed my options of disputing it. Chattanooga authorities should be ashamed for granting a business license and for letting them continue to operate. It's too bad that many people will never see these reviews for Omega before they're scammed, since they're pulling into a lot to park and not checking reviews. My husband and I recently parked in a lot monitored by Omega. We were in his car, which is unusual, and by mistake I used my plate which was already attached to my parking account instead of his. I completely understood receiving the ticket, however when I submitted my dispute including proof of the parking payment and the time and date associated I received a response a week later that they would reduce the $40 ticket to $30 after I had already paid $30 to park. This is simply poor customer service because the customer is captive. read more

First review after years of using Yelp. Had reservations at STIR. Pulled into OMEGA parking. Got out of car. Scanned the QR code. Their cameras had my license plate. I entered payment info. Received notice saying your request is being processed. Got back in car and waited. Nothing. Had to go in restaurant so figured they had my info. Came out 1.5 hours later $40 fine on window. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I visited Chattanooga on a brief weekend getaway and parked in one of their lots. I went to the parking payment machine to pay for my parking before heading to breakfast. Once I got back to my car, I saw that I got a ticket for non-payment, issued at 10:13 AM, despite the receipt displayed on my dash CLEARLY showing my time expired at 10:15 AM. The fine for non-payment was $40, with an increase to $50 if I don't pay after 14 days and $60 if I don't pay after 30 days??? When I contested the ticket online, they said that they would "courteously" lower the fine to $30. I asked for clarification on why I was ticketed two minutes prior to my time expiring and as of today (March 1) they STILL have yet to explain their actions. AVOID OMEGA AT ALL COSTS. I paid for parking via the ParkMobile app and got confirmation that the payment was successful at 12:12 PM. I went inside (Nic and Norman's) to eat. At 12:13 PM, one minute later, Omega cited me. I disputed the ticket online - going so far as to provide photographic proof (below) that the app clearly showed I had paid, that I still had time left (per the app), and that the charge had posted to my bank. Omega replied to my dispute, stating that I wasn't standing near my vehicle in the pictures *they* took at the time I was cited. Why would I be standing near my vehicle? The transaction had posted successfully. I went to eat lunch, not loiter around my vehicle for an hour. Omega's ''solution'' was to reduce my fine to $20.00. I already paid to park once. Parked in their lot located at the Chattanooga Choo Choo on 5/25 for dinner with friends. Paid a little over $18 to park for 3 hours and when we returned we had a violation ticket on the windshield. We called and sent information to the company before even leaving the lot. We even sent them the receipt and were still told we still had to pay the fine. They did lower the cost as an act of negotiations I suppose. Hopefully the Better Business Bureau can do something about these thieves. At $20 a ticket and 10 tickets a day they are stealing $73k a year but that is a generous figure. I am sure it is actually hundreds of thousands a year. Parked in a lot in Chattanooga on a Sunday. I tried to pay at a machine that did take my money. I noticed the hours didn't include Sunday and had heard on Sunday a lot of Chattanooga parking is free. I got a ticket from Omega. When I disputed, I was told that was a city meter and there is a sign on the other side of the meter about 6' away that says don't pay at this meter. $40 + plus $3.45 service fee to pay the ticket. Drivers BEWARE!!! I parked in the lot next to the ChooChoo and tried to use the kiosk but it had no way of entering the # of hrs. so I used the phone and the QR code and it showed that I'd pd for 2 hours. I sent omega a photo of my phone receipt but that wasn't sufficient for them. And, whoever copied down my tag # copied it incorrectly. Rather than continue what would no doubt be a losing proposition based on the other reviews, I paid the $43.50 (service chge of $3.50 to pay on line is ridiculous!) From now on I'll park in the covered garage which is cheaper anyway. Thieves, plain and simple. I parked, and with the aid of an actual policeman, paid their machine and I have credit card proof of paying twice (I extended the time). They refuse to accept my proof and now claim they will impound my car when I park in any of their lots. Sorry Chattanooga, love your town but we'll never come back. Parked at the Choo Choo to ice skate with excited kids running around (i.e. chaos). Kiosk was out of order with a sign to use mobile app to pay for zone #5513. Downloaded the app to pay and there was no #5513 shown on the map. I could click on #5512 and get an option to pay, #5511, etc.... all around me except the lot I was actually in. Took a screenshot to timestamp the fact there was no #5513 available to select to back me up in case I got a ticket. Got a ticket for $30. Upon dispute, I was informed not all lots will show up visually on the app and a user has to know to go and enter that zone into the search bar. I don't know what kind of app can show me where I am standing in live time on a map and not display the lot I am standing in. As a first time user of the app it is not intuitive that I would need to use the search bar. The app seems predatory, especially for older people or any first time user. My dispute was accepted, but I was charged the maximum of $8 and THEN a $3.95 processing fee was added. I have no problem paying for parking, I get it, but this company seems predatory and I will always explore other spaces and/or companies before using them in the future. I hope the Choo Choo rethinks their vendors and the cost/benefit analysis it may have on the businesses in their complex. read more

We use this lot at least once a week when we meet for lunch. Since we each drive we are paying for two parking spots. On Wednesday we met for lunch and I thought my partner would be running late so I paid for three hours of parking. I had parked on the second level because the bottom level was full. We finished lunch and when I walked out to my car I had a citation that said unauthorized parking. When I showed my citation and my receipt online I got a second notice saying I would just have to pay 10.00 because I was not suppose to park on the second level since that was for residence only. Frankly I have never seen a sign posted saying Residence Only. I called and left a message that if I have to pay the additional 10.00 I will never use their lot again. read more

Hi, My wife was issued a $20 ticket on 03/02/2022 for "not paying", though she did pay. I disputed the ticket through the Omega website, and provided proof of payment on the stated date. Omega responded by stating that they would give us a "one time courtesy" of lowering the $20 fine to $10, rather than appropriately waiving the ludicrous and unwarranted fee. Since receiving this "courtesy", I am unable to further dispute the ticket on their website. I have called and left multiple voice-mails over the last week, and have yet to hear a response. There are also no email contacts listed to reach a representative. It should also be noted should you not pay their toll immediately, the company threatens to increase the fine to $40. After reading multiple reviews for this company, it appears that this is common practice. This company is a scam. Don't park here. read more

Really hate the fact that we even have to issue one star to this "business." I use that word very loosely here. DO NOT park in any parking lot that will not accept your Apple Pay via park mobile. It is most certainly an Omega Lot. If you find yourself in an omega lot, move immediately...even if that means hiking a country mile to get to your location. You would think that clearing that up and having the fee "waived" would be as simple as providing proof of said payment. Nope. No such luck. As it turns out, this shit show was kind enough to send me an email mail this morning stating that since I had, in fact, paid to park, they would lower my charges to $8. Are you serious???? Really? We parked right in front of the restaurant thinking it was restaurant parking as the parking spaces were not numbered. (If you want people to pay for parking and know about it, the spaces should be numbered)...anyways tickets are ridiculously pricy. Park anywhere but here! I had time on my meter and got a ticket. I sent it in with proof of the ticket and my paid amount from the app. They wrote the ticket 5 minutes too early. I was at my car the 2 minutes before my time was up. The rep from that day said sorry and would remove the fine. Then a few months later I got a letter stating I owed $40 for it. I contacted them but since they only keep records for a short time, they have no proof, and the app doesn't go back that far. It was in Jan but got the letter in the mail in May. I have mixed feelings on this and its not entirely Omega's fault. I went to Champys Chicken in Chattanooga to pick up a to go order. I pulled into lot and parked in a Handicapped spot as I am severly disabled prosthesis and all. I asked a waitress or employee if I can park here and get my to go order or do I need to pay she stated You're fine as you are leaving quickly. This in fact was not the case. After 11 Minutes inside I came out to a $20.00 violation ticket. I made several calls and in Chatanooga I was told Handicapped plates/hang tags are exempt from fees for parking except no parking areas. Then later I find out that does not apply to private lots/properties. Then after a little research I find these violations can and are put into collections eventually and will in fact damage your credit if left unpaid or ignored and you can be booted or towed if you return to Omega's properties in the future. I didnt need this hassle as I visit Chattanooga frequently. Lesson learned sadly, I filed a dispute via the website and a few days later I received a One time courtesy dismissal of the violation. That being said and me finding I was in the wrong I found a contact number for the office and called. I didnt get in touch with a human but left a message, I offered to pay a 4hr or all day fee as I was in fact in the wrong but I felt the 20.00-75.00 fine was excessive. A couple days later a very nice lady called and declined my offer and said it was just dismissed. So although the company was awesome and I had a favorable expierience with them I find the practice predatory and excessive. I think clearer signage should be present and by reading reviews Im apparently not alone. Thats just my 2 cents worth again Omega did right by me just didnt like the whole situation. read more

If I could rate this "company" below a 1 star, I would! Parked in one of their lots for an hour. Entered from a side street and into a side entrance that was partially blocked by a UPS truck. Never saw a kiosk, NO pay to park signs from the side street entrance at all, no signs in front of each parking spot. NONE! I parked by a large king cab truck to my left where the apparent kiosk was located. I never walked that direction... I walked down same side street where I entered. Once I returned I had received a parking violation for $30!!!! Good grief!! $30!!!!!!! THIS CRAP IS EXACTLY WHY PPL DO NOT WANT TO GO DOWNTOWN!!! I sent an email explaining the situation to OMEGA along with a pic of the large truck beside me that was visible in the violation pic THEY had sent to me. I apologized for not seeing the Kiosk that was completely out of view, explained that there were no signs at the side ent. and explained that this lot was not well marked and that I would be happy to pay whatever the lot charges for the hour I was there-no problem.
