During earlier conversations, I believed the amounts being discussed referred to reductions in medical bills rather than the actual amount I would personally receive from the settlement. Unfortunately, this misunderstanding was not clarified until much later in the process. I was also uncomfortable when a recording of our phone conversation was provided as proof of my acceptance of the settlement amount, as it felt dismissive of my concerns rather than an effort to clarify the misunderstanding. Additionally, I was told that the attorney would look into the possibility of reducing the attorney fees since I would still be responsible for several thousand dollars in hospital bills. However, I never received a clear follow-up regarding whether that discussion took place or what the outcome was. While some staff members were responsive and professional, improved communication and greater transparency would have made this experience significantly less frustrating. Such as informing me there were liens from medical bills before the settlement was finished. As this was the second time I had retained this law firm for an auto accident matter, I reasonably expected the process to be handled in a manner similar to my prior contact. Based on my experience in this matter, I do not feel comfortable recommending this firm to family members or friends at this time

Two friends were injured in a classic wreck, they had the green light, middle of the intersection, a driver on his phone plowed through, hitting the Right-Side Door. Car video caught it all. One of the injuries was unusual, the passenger's hearing was dramatically affected. I called a couple retired PI lawyers I respected, described the case; after two of them suggested Marc Lenahan, I quit and called Mark. He has a reputation in the legal community of taking cases with unique injuries and pursing them vigorously. The clients were amazed: he called and talked with them for over an hour, explained how he practiced, their options to choose other counsel, talked about their damages, "If you do want to hire me, here's my address, call and make an appointment." AMS law group made a mistake when looking over these documents and said it was a custody case and even tried to convince me my own court documents were something other than what they actually said. I believe thats why gave me an outraegous number much larger than what I was told a simple document like that would be. They thought it was a much different case but if they simply read the papers I handed over they would've seen it was a Chapter 35 hearing set for Oct 5th.. nothing to do at all with custody and that was on purpose so things could be smooth and fast so my grandson can go to the doctor and school. Never did I leave a review to "leverage a lower price" you all simply did not do your job right and Im telling others so they don't waste their time and get disapointed like I did. I hired your highly regarded firm to assist in the handling of my injury case, but that decision…read moreonly led to your office preventing me from going to my physical therapy appointments, negatively impacting my treatment for injuries sustained in the accident. By refusing to amend your Letter of Protection, your office declined to work with my current provider and instead tried to usher me to seek treatment elsewhere (with one of your partnering providers). During this period, comments were made regarding my current provider that I found inappropriate and unprofessional. I was unable to see my caring physician for two weeks. Therefore, I thought it best to terminate your services, as they had done nothing but cause harm. When I requested the termination, it was then stated that there would be a lien placed on my settlement with the at-fault insurance company. No provision in the contract provided to me stated that such a lien would apply in the event of early termination. The contract was missing a signature from a representative of Frenkel and Frenkel, thus, according to your contract the contract was not valid or binding. Once I requested termination of Frenkel and Frenkel's services, only then was I provided with a fully executed contract, which had no date or confirmation of authentication. Raising concerns for me whether the contract was executed after my request to terminate. You have ignored my multiple attempts to reach out to you in regards to resolving this, which included a letter to my former attorney and then a Demand Letter to remove the lien, which was sent to both Frenkels and my former attorney. I called several times to initiate follow up and was still ignored. I will not be recommending Frenkel and Frenkel's services to anyone, and I will warn others not to fall victim to the same mistreatment and setbacks I experienced under your representation.
