We have been absolutely amazed by the customer service with Omega homes. We purchased our house in Lorena TX. We 1st did a walk through in November of 2022. Our sales agent Mikaela was so accommodating to all our questions and concerns. She kept in contact with us on the weekly. Once we moved in we had a couple issues and our superintendent Bryan was quick to fix the issues. These people that work for Omega really are gems. I have appreciated this entire purchase with Omega. Don't usually leave bad reviews at all except when totally warranted and wanting to warn people about the home you will be buying if you buy brand new. So please beware that you will be told things are you fault and everything when you mention them. I think home warranty's should be extended to two years not just one. Don't even know where to begin..... More than 6 homes in the small community of Friars Creek have had window leaks. They make it seem like there was NO reason for the leaks, but they will fix them anyways. Repairs them and no storms come like the heavy heavy rains that make them leak so not even able to make sure the job was complete, but yet told there was been rain so therefor since it didn't leak then they were fixed. While we trusted Omega to inspect the property we didn't raise the blinds all the way up to Fully Inspect the window. We raised them to inspect for leaks and found some of the Window casing on the inside of the three windows in my living room have pieces from each one. And was just told that " we took them off " so this is not their problem. The Yard floods and the say that is just how it is.... All of the back doors that back up on the green belt are installed incorrectly... All the hinges are exposed on the outside of the house, HOW SAFE IS THAT.... our metal gate latch is installed backwards. House has settled in just two years and driveway is cracking, the fascia boards are separating at least a 1/4 of an inch in places. The stone mortar is Cracking and falling out in places.... There is just too many things wrong with this home. We bought here because we thought our last brand new home by DR HORTON was bad..... HAHA Omega is way worse. read more

Stay away from Omega Builders. Purchased a new build home and this has been a horrible experience. From management and the buying experience to the actual home we live in now. Management does not care about customers, they just want to make money. We weren't allowed to bring in our realtor due to some obscure policy Omega has which we never heard of. This was detrimental to our purchasing experience since we loved our realtor. The quality of the home is subpar to other builders. They rush the houses to make a quick profit. Build, finish, quality of material, workmanship you name it, I would rate everything 1/5. I will not recommend Omega Builders nor will I purchase another home build by Omega Builders. read more

Overall horrible. Problems from before closing to after closing. The HOA they use for the reserve at pea ridge seems to not care, I've filled numerous complaints without any response but the second your trash can is outside in the front or side of the house they don't hesitate to write you a letter as a warning with possible fines next time. But my neighbor can have tall weeds for grass. Fed up to say the least. While living at my house, if I didn't have camera I wouldn't have known, contractors used my water and outlets. Until I told them I'd sue they didn't reimburse me. At that, they took forever to fix. Along with my year inspection per my warranty - I was told "this is normal wear and tear from being in a house". When in fact my brand new house had cracks in the ceiling along with cracks in my bathroom shower, the outside of my windows, and in my kitchen along my counter. They continued to deny fault, came back to me saying "since I'm here we will fix it". read more

I purchased recently purchased an Omega home in Belton, TX. They're receiving this low rating because they fail at the details and their unwillingness to make it right. After spending over 300k on a brand new home I shouldn't have issues like these. This is my 4th home. I had a new build with DR Horton - Immaculate on the first walk through. All issues that popped up after were addressed by the builder right up to the last day of 1-yr warranty. My other two homes were existing homes. I should have walked away from this one, but I was assured they would take care of everything after closing. 1. Less than 90-days in the home I have rodents in the attic. Entry points are clearly something the builder should have corrected, but they refused and claimed that their flawed work was to code. Cost me hundreds to get it fixed to stop the rodents from coming in and hundreds more to get them out. 2. Installed shower doors around what was clearly a bad tile job. Picture attached. 3. Garage doors with gaps at the bottom. Was told it's like that to allow air to flow through the garage. 4. Installed tile on the cabinetry around the refrigerator and oven to address one scratch. The grout is flaking and it looks like garbage. 5. Doors with gaps that the weather stripping isn't helping. Using 4 gap fills on one door to stop the AC from escaping into the garage and scorpions, spiders, and everything else from crawling in. Builder claims it's a good install, but if you have to add all that extra stuff to fill gaps it's clearly not a good install. 6. Radiant barrier hanging from the roof. What's the point if it's not attached. They claim it's not affecting anything. 7. Built a large limestone planting bed to cover large foundation. The wall is cracking and will soon have unsightly gaps. Found out that they don't add a concrete base like most landscapers do. They claim that they don't warranty it. 8. Left dead and dying trees in the yard with one too close to the house. Was told they are not arborists. The only reason I give them 2 stars is because the design of their houses are nice, but their attention to detail deserves less than 1-star. read more

Started off great with the buying process. Then we signed and construction started on new home. From that point forward has been a nightmare. Problems ranged from flipped blueprints, missing walls, incomplete cabinets, wrong countertops, bad flooring (that was already known to be defective when they installed), an attic ladder that was a beast to open (a kid could hang from the pull rope and it wouldn't open), my AC condenser and fence kissing, to my sprinklers watering my lawn, 80% of my fence, my siding, 60% of my driveway, and the street. And all of these were ignored until I brought them up... repeatedly. Add on top of that a home inspection report with 80+ items... on a new build! All issues (and more big ones than those listed) to even the small things, it has been a nightmare to get them to come out and fix. Most issues seem to require them sending someone to fix the issue, sending a second guy to fix the first guys repairs, then sending a third guy to repair the second guy's repair. Of course, there is no communication or actual scheduling. Most of these problems would be non-existent if they had any quality control. But they don't. They cover up issues and pray the home owner doesn't say anything. And their guy managing repairs is a kid that is completely incompetent. He's been "relieved of his duties" at other communities and works just mine, now. Takes weeks to get back to you, and even then he doesn't answer the question you asked. Other times, you just get ignored until you start going up the chain of command. To summarize, their floor plans are awesome. Their build quality on paper is much better than the competition. But in practice, not so much. They skip corners, cover up mistakes, and the first response is always "that's within the acceptable range". Then it gets taken up the chain and gets fixed. There is zero quality control. Project managers are rarely on site, and when they are, they are not inspecting the work done. Sub-contractors (and their construction employees) have no measurable amount of professionalism or quality workmanship (and are known to drink on the job). I'm sure in the end, the house will be awesome, but the fight to get to that point and get things fixed is unacceptable. The stress levels and headaches are not worth it. I'd probably go with DR Horton if I had to do it all over again. Edit: I have been in contact with the Construction Manager. It's been 3 months since he reached out (after I emailed a lengthy complaint). Very few of the original issues have been addressed. And some were only done halfway and will have to be redone (see the pattern?). He pops up once in a while and then tells Cullen and Jarrod what to do, and the MIGHT get to it several weeks later if I remind them every couple days. God forbid they take notes and remember what has to be fixed... read more
