After ordering my email notification popped up and Oma's had instantly sent me an order confirmation and invoice (which I had paid on the phone.) It was such a surprise to have everything taken care of immediately. I am not used to having that speed of communication in a brick and mortar business. I received a large white basket with flowers for my husband's memorial service last Tuesday in Coral Springs. I'm sure it was expensive because it was big. Six of the lilies opened up but were outlined in brown. Six lilies never opened and the whole tops were brown. The daisies were hanging over the next day. I called and spoke with a woman who said she wasn't the owner but she would speak to the owner the next day and one of them would call me back. I received other flower arrangement and some of them are still fresh, a week later. I called from San Francisco on a Friday afternoon needing to order flowers to be delivered in Tamarac for my Dad's 91st Birthday the next day. The person who helped me on the phone (sorry, I didn't get her name) was extremely helpful and assured me they could make the delivery even though it is a gated community without a guard at the gate. My Dad and his wife received a call before the delivery and said that the flower arrangement (which I had picked out from the website) was one of the most beautiful they had ever seen, with a really impressive vase. They later on went to the store because my Dad had forgotten to tip her, and they said the store was great. The woman tried to not accept the tip ("oh, delivery was included") but they insisted. BEWARE SENDERS?!?! THEY WILL NOT SEND WHAT YOU ORDER?!!? I ordered a deluxe arrangement and what was sent was the smaller arrangement. I work in the floral business myself, so their excuse of "not knowing" there was a deluxe option is ridiculous. A print out of what was ordered, what flowers are needed in the arrangement, a picture of the ordered arrangement and the total cost all show when an order is placed. I KNOW they tried to save a few bucks and run a scam knowing I was an out of state sender and made the smaller, cheaper arrangement rather than the big grand one I ordered. When asked if they could make the big one and send it out, they said they would have had to take the smaller one back?!?! I mean really???? When I said that was not okay, they only offered to refund me the difference between the prices of the 2 arrangements, when really I should have received a full refund. This was not a mistake, it was a SCAM. Thank GOD the sender sent me a picture of the arrangement.
