My spouse and I were happy with the plans Austin talked with us about and his pricing was reasonable. We decided to sign with him. If you don't read any further, consider another business as Austin doesn't communicate well, he doesn't show up when he says he will, and he doesn't pay attention to detail in his work. First thing we noticed was his contracts were not very detailed. It just had material prices and labor prices. There were no red flags at this point as he assured us he wouldn't leave the job until we were satisfied. When he called to say the project was starting, he told us it would be about 3 weeks barring any weather. Once the patio was done by the company he contracted, we didn't hear from him for 10 days. (There was no rain during those 10 days.) When I finally reached out to him, he said he would be there the next day, but it ended up being 3 days after. 1st red flag. Then when he finally showed up, he brought a new crew of guys that had never built a deck before. I understand everyone has to start somewhere. They would show up at our house and sit around waiting for Austin to show anywhere between 9 and 10 AM. He had to teach them what to do and then let them go so he could start on another part of our deck. He didn't monitor them well and many mistakes were made. He and his crew usually started packing up around 3 and left by 3:30 most days. 9 weeks later, the project was "complete". However, we had a list of 29 things that needed fixed. We had talked about some of them with Austin as the project was in progress, but only a few were fixed at that time. Some examples of the problems were un-level stairs, different heights on the railing posts, diagonal drain spouts, textured ceiling panels going in different directions, shades not hung level, and a corner of our patio that was broken off. This does not include the sloppy job of paint/stain, caulking, and screws breaking through the composite. When he told us the project was complete, we still had 2 more things on the list. His crew broke one of our sprinklers and the corner of our fascia is so warped that it doesn't meet together. He assured us he would come back and complete that even though he wanted our last payment. We trusted that he was an honest contractor as he had "mostly" fixed our other problems, so we paid him. We are now 3 months out from the beginning of the project in June. For the past 30 days, I have contacted him multiple times, he has told me on 8 different occasions that he will be out to finish and that his sprinkler guy will fix the sprinkler. No one has shown.

We had a concrete patio, wood fence, pergola and wood trash cover done. The wood fence and trash can cover are already warping and falling apart. They did offer to come back and look at the problems, but due to all the issues we had with them, and the fact that they had to fix things already, I didn't trust them to come back. 0/10.

What like my wife and I were gonna do it for them, or hire another company to do it? Claimed we didn't request our detached garage in the bid (like we want our garage a different color than our house?) They ripped all the screens on our windows, ripped our internet hardline out of the wall costing us $200 to get the company to come out and reinstall it. You can see the screws used to secure siding from the street. Left materials thrown about the yard, The project manager Mathew should be flipping burgers in a sleazy diner .... It's going to cost us 3 times the contract amount to fix their work... folks run in the opposite direction...

They had to be completely replaced and now they close without effort, look great, and we're built to stand the test of time.
