This is the ABSOLUTE WORSE PHARMACY EVER!!!!! I have never been given the "run around in services/customer service" that this pharmacy offers to patients. on 4 different occasions I was told my prescriptions were ready to pick up or they were being filled right away and each time I called I was told that they show nothing for me or that they have not been filled yet. The worse is showing up because they claim they are ready and when you show up they are not ready and, of course, have not even started to be filled. They will not even bother to say that the medication you are coming to pick up had to be ordered - they will just keep telling you it hasn't been filled. Avoid this pharmacy by any means necessary! read more

Horrible business. Most employees rude on phone. They never identify themselves. Pharmacist/owner and/or pharmacy technician makes potentially deadly mistakes on medications. Received wrong Rx with similar name at least 2x. Insist customers wear masks but they don't. Some have masks but they are around their necks. Girl at counter shouts to people waiting outside spitting on customers in line. I had been a spit recipient but went back to CVS. As bad as CVS is, Omac is 3 times worse. read more

OMAC pharmacy, is like the worst I've been going there for a long time like all other places the employees come and go when the COVID scare was intense it's a whole new group of women working there there and one lady was helping another lady I was up next and she was so rude even and she was making me wait as though she wasn't going to help me until she was good and ready I talked to Jesse the pharmacist right when the situation was happening when we call to get medication filled they are just as rude they say "hold please" not even sayings something simple as saying hello Theses are a how new group of girls that need to be informed of how to answer phones and how to treat people if you ever have any issues talk to Jesse the pharmacist I assure you that he will take care of the issues it's not the pharmacy it's the girls who work there. So if ever you have an issue don't wait to get it resolved nip it in the butt right then and there no one should be treated like trash. read more

I was looking for a Nubelizer, and after getting incorrect and misleading information from another medical supply store clerk at Oxnard Medical Supply, I was sooo happy to find Omac pharmacy through another real pharmacist who referred me there. The ladies, Kal, Brisa and The pharmacist Krina, took the time to listen to me, knew what I needed and quickly, quickly supplied it to me. Brisa explained my coverage and cost, and her reassurance gave my heart a smile, Krina took time from what she was doing and stopped to help me, and answered my all my questions. I have transferred all my prescriptions to this great place. Only wish I would have known about them when I first moved here to Oxnard. Thank you Ladies, you Rock!! read more

I can't stand this pharmacy. It's always a bad experience. I have very severe anxiety and every time I come it's just something new that makes me even more reluctant to come here. My doctor sent in my prescription to this place over and hour and a half ago. I know it takes about 20 minutes to get your medication ready so I sat in my car for an hour just to make sure that they had enough time. One of the last few times I came here, one of the pharmacist techs was trying to withhold my medication because of something that had to do with my insurance, understandable, but when I began asking her questions, she became notably irritated and was very rude. Since then, I have been very hesitant to come inside unless absolutely necessary. When I went in today after waiting in my car for an hour though another PT did not acknowledge that people were even waiting in line and worst off, they had not been processing incoming online prescriptions and I had to wait another twenty minutes for my medication. I'm so mad. If you can get your prescription anywhere else do it bc this place sucks. I have previously tried to change pharmacies because of the rude PT but it hasn't worked out. Try CVS. They're open everyday, until this place (really isn't for busy people) and they have better customer service. read more

When they say they're contracted with your insurance you transfer your prescription over walk in and they say they aren't. Total waste of time as if i wasn't already sketchy about this pharmacy i should've went with my instincts and stuck to big names. Lesson learned. read more

Went to get my medication filled here due to my normal pharmacy not carrying it anymore. When I walked in the staff was having a laughing party and was very distracted. The lady putting in my insurance was so distracted that she kept messing up numbers and the insurance wouldn't go through. After a few attempts the insurance worked. She told me it would be a few minutes. She called me up and told me that their would be no copay and I was entitled to a few refills I thanked her and walked out. When I got to the car I opened my bag and realized I had a totally new medication. The medication I was used to taking was working really well for me and I was scared this new one would throw me off. So I went inside to ask the pharmacist if I should be worried or if it was a comparable medication to what I was taking. When I came in the lady told me to go to the pharmacist. I proceeded to ask the pharmacist my question and then he cut me off and said "well you see here it says CONSULT" and he tried to make me feel stupid as if I left without following directions. I did tell him his staff member dismissed me after I signed and never asked me to stay for a Consult. I really felt that was very unprofessional for a pharmacist to speak to me in that way. I am all for having fun at work, but their are times to be professional, specially in the medical field. People come in feeling sick and overwhelmed, and to have staff laughing out loud and talking about their personal lives in that manner in such a small space where everyone can here everything is very unprofessional. The staff member helping me was so engaged in the conversation that it distracted her from helping me. She would've probably sent me to the pharmacist to get a CONSULT so that I didn't have to come back inside and made feel stupid. I will do everything in my power To not go here again. It is not worth the shaming from the pharmacist. read more

Had to fill a prescription for my bird, Ozzie. Went to CVS first but they don't do compounding ? I thought that was what pharmacists do. They referred me to OMAC and I am glad they did. This, by far, is the best pharmacy in Ventura county no matter where I lived in the county I would drive to this pharmacy to get whatever I needed .The staff is wonderful, fun, pleasant, and efficient. The pharmacist is professional, personable and very very smart. I have been in some very strange situations with my medication and he has always been right there to help me. Jesse, who is the pharmacist, is one of the nicest people I know. I don't know what I would do without all of you. I know you'll keep up the good work. And I know I will keep coming to you as long as you're there and I hope that's for a really long time.
