My daughter walked me all over the school and I have no idea how she doesn't get lost? The portables they have are the nicest ones that I've ever seen at a school, first class looking. All the teachers that I met were very nice and all utilize technology which makes things easier for us parents to keep up with our kids in school. The car line for afternoon pick up is a mess. I have to wait in the line for an hour and after sitting here for an hour, I get parents that want to pull that car in front of mine and cut me, unbelievable! There needs to be a better way to pick up our kids after school... it's extremely congested.

I roomed at the Baxter Hall my first year (just rooms, no kitchen) then Lakeview Apartments my second year (individual apartment-style forms with kitchens). Not sure if Lakeview exists anymore. But I loved studying here and making friends. This school was a huge part of my growth as a person and as a Christian. I'm not sure what it's like now, 11 years later, but I highly recommend it. Though it is a small school, the French American International School of Boca Raton allows for a lower student to teacher ratio which is a gift. My eldest child was in the gifted and talented program in her previous school, and this small teacher to student ratio has afforded the teachers to individualize and differentiate the curriculum to meet her individual needs. She is challenged, motivated and HAPPY. My middle child has blossomed at FAIS. She has gained more confidence as she is asking more questions and is engaged in group activities because of the more one on one time she receives at FAIS. She also takes greater pride in her work completion and strives to excel each and every day. She has also formed some wonderful friendships at the school as the children at this school are kind and open-minded.I can honestly state that all of the teachers are passionate about teaching. The teachers are approachable and so accommodating to students and families. My children and I feel cared for. FAIS recently acquired International Baccalaureate (IB) accreditation. The IB coordinator is fantastic and this accreditation is just another bonus. It encourages such a well-rounded education! As my eldest child says "FAIS is a gem of a school" and I could not agree more! My eldest is taking standardized exams for middle school admissions placements (24-25 school year). I have received her multiple scores and her percentiles have actually moved up since last year across all academic areas. This just validates how excellent the academics are at FAIS! My three children, husband and I cannot express how grateful we are to have found this wonderful school!

Boca Raton High School has some serious issues--especially with the NJROTC program. The students…read moreand instructors in NJROTC are shockingly rude and condescending to others. They act like they're above everyone else and constantly talk down to people who aren't part of their group. It's supposed to be a leadership and discipline program, but instead, it feels more like a place where arrogance and disrespect get rewarded. The way they treat new cadets and even regular students is unacceptable. There's little kindness, zero professionalism, and no sense of teamwork unless you're part of their inner circle. The environment they create is toxic and discouraging. If you're thinking of joining NJROTC here--or even sending your kid to this school--definitely think twice. There are better programs and schools out there that actually teach respect and leadership instead of just pretending to.
