**Short review: they will charge you $235 to walk in the door (not covered by most insurance). Front desk lady called and harassed me, called me an idiot, left mean voicemails and sent me to collections w/o allowing me to dispute anything. RUN from this place! June 2021 I made an appt bc my foot hurt and I was worried something was wrong. They were nice and had an open schedule so they got me in. At the appt I met with Dr. Annalisa who was polite and professional and talked to me for about 10 mins and then took an x-ray at her office. She called a couple days later and said my foot was fine and to not worry about it, just keep going about my life. I was relieved, so I did. It wasn't until late July 21 that I was worried I never got follow up paperwork or any documentation on scan etc, so I called the office to tell them. I even asked if it was correct I never got an insurance statement. They said the acct was all settled up and no paperwork was due so I thought that was how they do business and that was that. Fast fwd to December when a very agressive lady called me and started making demands. She said she was w/Olympic Foot and Ankle and wondered why I hadn't paid my bill? I told her the story about never getting anything to which she cut me off and said they had mailed a lot of letters. It was odd because I had not moved and received no letters. She then started rattling off charges like a "new patient fee." I told her that was likely a misunderstanding because I wasn't becoming a patient, I just came in for a scan. She was aggressive and said if I was new I had to pay $235! While I pushed back that was a lot, I asked if she could get the Dr (who was nice as I remembered) to call and we could discuss? I explained it was likely a mix up and I'd be happy to work it out. She said I also had to pay $55 for the scan. I said, OK can I pay for that and wait for the Dr to call back about new patient, and asked if that was ok. She started raising her voice and getting mean, I tried to stop her but she wouldn't and said if I didn't pay the $235 she would send me to collections! I couldn't handle it, I hung up. Link below is half the video, the first half is her saying she's personally sending me to collections, the second half is her saying I'm stupid and don't know what a city/state is and talking about things she knows nothing about regarding my formal education - she tells me 'I should go back to college because I don't sound that bright on the phone" while she works as a receptionist at a foot doctors office. Also, they did send me to collections and I explained to the collections agency my situation. They called the office and also tried to reach a more senior person to get to the bottom of it and come to a resolve. They called w/the msg that the patient wanted to pay for the scan and wanted to plead my case. They also couldn't get anywhere with the staff. The collections agency noticed the office LIED on the paperwork about the service date being June of 2023, which this was 2021. Since they did so the collection agency fired them - they told me it was resolved for them and I''d be removed from their system! I found the office on my insurance's website and the office was able to fit me in right away. The office itself is a little small but the staff are attentive and friendly. Dr. Co was very nice and took the time to explain my diagnosis and evaluate me. I was the last patient of the day but never got the impression that they were rushing me out the door. Went to Dr Co for an ingrown toenail that was also infected. I was extremely nervous. Her and her staff were very professional and friendly. The procedure only took about 30 minutes. I was relieved that I was almost completely pain free. I will not wait so long to seek help next time. I was nervous for nothing. read more

I would give a NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could. The only positive thing I can say is she's polite. So what!!! I'd rather have competent than polite. 1. After the procedure I had blood dripping all over the bottom of my flip-flop. Yes, those pics are mine. My chiropractor was so shocked he rescheduled my appt just so I could get my toe professionally dressed. That cost me an extra $20.00 2. The toe got infected, despite my following her soaking instructions. She gave me a prescription that got me so sick, I missed 3 days of work! 3. The toenail weakened and sheared, resulting in the deformed look you see in the photo. 4. The cuticles on the 2 toes she did are 10x WORSE than they ever were before the procedure. 5. And to top it off, the toes have often felt more painful than they ever felt before she botched up my foot! I could suffer deformity if it didn't still hurt. 6. Wait, that's not all. The icing on the cake, I owe her money for her crap work!! Do yourself a favor, & see a real professional podiatrist. I wish I did! read more

REALLY IMPRESSED!!! Dr. Co was recommended to me by my Internist. I had a bad infection on my second Toe on my right foot. It was infected with MRSA and had to be surgically removed. The problem was, I am an actor and I was in the middle of doing a show for the next two months. Dr. Co worked with me and an infectious Disease Specialist to keep the infection from spreading until my show was over and I could have the infected toe removed. I was awake during surgery and heard surgical staff saying how great a person and Doctor, Annalisa Co was. Great bedside manner. Knows her stuff well! read more

Dr Co is wonderful HOWEVER the front desk staff is not. I drove 45 minutes to my appointment with Dr. Co and received a phone call less than 2 min before my arrival time telling me that she no longer is a contractor with my insurance. One would think that would have all been done at the time made my appt (which was NOT a last minute booking). Dr. Co is very professional, knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner. She's helped me tremendously with my fallen arch issues and some running related issues i've had over the past few years. I initially went to her because i noticed one of my feet was spreading out (getting wider) and i was developing a bunion on that foot. She told me that i had fallen arches on both feet, but for some reason it was worse on the right foot. I also mentioned that the muscles of the right leg/ankle seemed to tire easily when i was running or doing some other kind of physical activity. She explained to me that when you have flat feet/fallen arches your leg muscles have to work harder to compensate. She said that custom made orthotics often help a great deal with the leg fatigue while exercising, and with other issues related to fallen arches (i.e., spreading foot bones and bunion). She made a cast of my feet for the orthotics that day and i had them within a few weeks. They took a bit to get used to inside my shoes, but once my feet got used to having that support in there i could tell that my legs were less tired and i could run longer without feeling that fatigue in the lower leg. It's been several years and my bunion has been kept at bay, and i couldn't imagine running or walking long distances without my orthotics. She also recently helped me with a running related Achilles injury. She's great with kids as well. My husband and i realized recently that our son had flat feet and were wondering if his tendency to complain about his legs being tired and wanting to be carried a lot had anything to do with that. We took him to Dr. Co and she confirmed that that is often the case with flat footed children and that most of the time orthotics can help improve the situation. We decided to give that a try, but i was wondering if my very high energy 4-year-old would sit still while she was casting his feet, or if he would think it felt too weird and refuse to let her do it. Dr. Co knew just how to handle the situation. She joked with him telling him she was making him some new shoes for school, and he thought that was hilarious and got him to relax. She gently pressed the drying plaster strips into his feet making it like a little massage for him. He loved it! My son has had orthotics for a few weeks now and he does seem to be able to run and play longer without complaining of his legs being tired. I have been very happy with Dr. Co and highly recommend her to anyone with podiatric needs. read more

At the recommendation of a friend, I went to see Dr. Co about chronic pain I've been having in my ankle. I don't usually like going to the doctor but she was very personable and easy to talk to. Hardly had to wait at all before she saw me. She was able to diagnose my problem pretty quickly (tendinitis from breaking my ankle 15 years ago), gave me a brace, and took a cast to have some orthotic inserts made. Haven't gotten the orthotics yet but the brace has already been helping with some of the swelling I would get when hiking or running. I wish I did not wait so long to see someone about this. read more

I went to see Dr. Co at Kaiser when I started developing very small, but annoying and painful calluses on the bottom of my foot. During my visit with her, she took the time to explain what caused the calluses and informed me of the removal procedure. Initially, I was nervous with the removal procedure, but she explained to me that it is not painful, which put me at ease. Before I left her office, she did let me know that they may return, but there would be a more aggressive treatment if necessary and sure enough, she was correct! I appreciated that she let me know what to expect after the initial treatment. When she opened her private practice, Olympic Foot and Ankle, I wen to see her again when the calluses returned. This time we opted for the more aggressive treatment, and again, she took the time to explain the procedure, what to expect, and the amount of discomfort after the treatment. I like that she tried a non-invasive method first and then we went on to a more aggressive treatment when the issue persisted. I felt very comfortable and at ease with her, and I value her medical knowledge and expertise. I will definitely go to Dr. Co for all of foot and ankle needs. read more

Dr. Annalisa Co helped me years ago with a problem foot during my journey to become an elite triathlete. She was working for Northern California Orthopedic Center at the time. She spent many appointments with me to make the best orthotics for my bike shoes and had my old orthotics refinished and appropriately padded/modified to be used for running. Dr. Co set me up with infrared treatments, a boot, crutches, and orthotics... and in one month I was out of the boot and in two months I was racing pain free again. Dr. Co is a super knowledgeable and friendly podiatrist. She really cares about her clients and she will get you taken care of quickly. I fell and had a severe ankle sprain. She got me in immediately for an x-ray. When that didn't show anything, she got an MRI ordered for me and when they couldn't get me in quickly, she called around to get me in another place as soon as possible. I'm so glad that I finally went to see a Podiatrist about my tired feet. I'm a runner and was referred to Dr. Co by a friend. I didn't have any alarming pain in my feet but thought it was a good idea to get them checked out to prevent any injuries since I run 30 miles a week. It was very easy to get an appointment with Dr. Co and while I was there, the wait was minimal. I had my 3-yr old daughter with me and Dr. Co was so gentle and patient with her that my daughter didn't even realize Dr. Co was examining the small cut on her toe. I recently saw Dr. Co because I have had trouble staying injury free no matter how much stretching and warming-up I do prior to working out. Dr. Co examined me and explained how having "flat feet" can stand in the way of the active lifestyle I want.
