THEN they informed me I'd get charged $53 dollars again on the 15th So $126 dollars for the first month there -I called to talk to the manager, the guy on the phone said she's currently busy , and when I told him my issue he lied and said the manager wasn't there instead after he had admitted she was there So you'll be spending over $100 for the first month you attend there Not worth it. A lot of there stuff is old. I'm not gonna pay 100$ to get lied to on the phone because people don't want to do there job. Also my workout was cut short today because the hours on Apple Maps are incorrect for this place.

Yes the YMCA is in Youngstown but best to go in person if you need help of any kind.

I wouldn't send my dog to this school, so where to even begin....between the former accountant…read moretaking a handheld to the school a year and a half ago, and that email nearly costing me a speeding ticket to get to the school that day, or the fact my child isn't welcome back after she was slapped by a boy, and then told she was viewed as a burden by the first grade teacher back in May of this year; by the former principal whose now at Cardinal Mooney. Which during that meeting, come to find, my child was threatening self harm during class. Which no one told me about until that following Friday, when the very teacher who viewed my kid as a burden walks out to my car in the pickup line, crocodile tears going, and says "your child is threatening to hurt herself during my class." Great, all the more reason for her to be done here and never see the likes of any of you again. What was once my happy little girl, is now miserable. So, she was done that day, two weeks before first grade graduation which she did not get to attend because I refuse to subject my child to anymore neglect or torture she may have had to go through there. Then it took a month after that, and reaching out to get her personal belongings left behind; had to call the private school board and get a recommendation on how to go about getting my child's things....where I was told I'd likely have to get the law involved because they aren't apart of any school board...even the private one here. So, I wouldn't trust these people as far as I could throw them. One, they have one teacher per class, not two or three like they would have you think. Most of the people there that are "teachers" are parent volunteers, or teachers aids. The tuition they list, is a grand off, plus a grand in co-op fees. They obviously play favorites when the victim of violence isn't welcome back, but the one who hits is. The funny thing in all this though, is the sheer will of just pure laziness in it all. I'm still getting emails from this school, I've yet to be removed from their lists. Why....who knows, but the incompetence, and will to overlook anything bad there is unreal.

The skates aren't bad, sure there's some minor wear on a decent few, but they are constantly being repaired and the company has also recently replaced half their stock. If you do honestly have any issues with the skates, you can go back to the counter at any time and request a new pair. Same with if you have any issues with personal skates your brought, typically the staff will try their best to help you fix your skates. It should be known however that sometimes they can't as not all of them carry their own personal tools after they got stolen numerous times. The food itself isn't bad, not a fan of the pizza but I do recommend the popcorn and when they have it the chicken strips. The drinks aren't really the best and I never agreed with the prices for how small they are, but there is the vending machines that people rarely use. It's only $2-$3 for a bottled drink and it's the best option there drink wise. The skate floor itself I'll give high praise to. There is yearly repairs and polishes, and it's swept and mopped before each day. Music isn't bad, there's a few different DJ's so the music isn't the same every day, and most of them take requests and will play the music as long as they have it and it's appropriate for the crowd. It should be known however that they don't stream off the internet, so they don't have unlimited options, if they say they don't have it, they genuinely don't have it, they aren't just trying to make you go away. The staff as a whole is pretty good. The floor guards are some of the nicest people as long as you just follow the rules, many negative reviews I've seen I was there for, and those people tend to conveniently leave out the numerous rules they were breaking. The rules themselves are posted in multiple locations and essentially all you have to do is not cause issues for everyone else. The management could be better. There is times that there's issues that they don't really put effort into fixing, but if you talk with other staff members they'll usually do better than them. Management usually only gets involved for bigger issues such as fights, but they do keep a cop on duty for the busy sessions so you don't have to worry about any fights. Parties are reasonably priced and I do highly recommend the private ones if you're doing 20+ guests. You'll get the entire rink for like 3 hours with music, skates, etc. The public ones aren't bad either but many people seem to underestimate how many people will be there since those happen during public sessions. So if you're doing under 20 guests, public is a good option, but anything over that I'd just pay the extra for a private one, it'll be well worth your money. Only real issue I'd say everyone has to face is the rising entrance fee. The head management keeps raising it for inflation, and honestly to some extent it feels unnecessary with some of the price increases. My best advice is check the hours online so you're getting your moneys worth. Tons of people will pay to get in, but they complain about the price after they chose to show up with only 45 minutes left in a skate session. $10 isn't the most unreasonable price when you are getting the full 3+ hours, just plan accordingly. Overall I'd rate the place at a 3.8 to 4. Prices can be steep but if you plan ahead then you'll be fine. Just actually follow the rules that are for everyone's safety and you'll have no issues.

Some of the reasons that I love it so far: * The instructors - I have taken at least one class with every instructor, and all of them epitomize the studio slogan of STRONG*SEXY*FIT. They often come around during class to help make sure that your form is correct so that you're getting the most out of your workout, which I really appreciate. * The challenges - Laura periodically runs various challenges throughout the year to help keep everyone motivated. I successfully completed the Summer Burn Challenge, even with an 8 day vacation scheduled in the middle of the challenge period. * The variety of classes - there are at least a dozen different classes from which to choose. Even when I attend the standard bootybarre class, which continues to be my favorite, the instructors do an excellent job of changing it up so that each class is different. * The equipment - each class uses different equipment including hand weights, small balls, large balls, various bands, TRX bands and of course, the ballet barre. Starting in January, Laura is adding a new class called bootybarre Bounce, which uses fancy trampolines. I can't wait! * The schedule - classes are available 7 days a week and both mornings and evenings. There are even classes available at 5:30AM two days per week to accommodate early birds like me...

They are exceptionally good dancers, having won numerous awards (both regionally and nationally), and exceptionally good teachers. When I started with them, I barely knew my left foot from my right, but their patience and excellence in teaching has made me able to dance and really enjoy it! They make lessons fun, and individualize your lessons, so that even those with limitations can learn to dance comfortably. The other students in their studio are friendly and supportive, and I feel like I have gained an extended family. Can't reccomend this studio, and these instructors, highly enough
