I wasn't able to answer the door at the time, so it's possible he assumed no one was home--but that still doesn't excuse such a rushed job. This would explain why I'm still constantly dealing with mosquitoes and spiders even after the treatment. Based on this experience, I would not recommend TruGreen for pest control services. It feels like corners were definitely cut, and I'm disappointed with the lack of thoroughness and follow-through.

I had a man show up in regular street clothes unannounced at 7pm one night telling my husband I wanted him to come give me a quote. That was false. I then had another man show up the next week while I was having my yard serviced by another company and he said he was told I wanted a quote. I told him I did not request anyone to come to my house and I was happy with my service. He skipped a day and came back a day later. I did not answer the door for fear of my safety. It needed a lot of work and I was quoted 4 grand. It seemed high but since I just wanted it done, I was going to book it with them. They then asked for 50% deposit and told me they could come "sometime in September" I don't know why a company that doesn't need to purchase materials for this job and is simply showing up to mow, trim trees, and haul it away would need a 2,000 deposit and is unable to provide a service date. Needless to say, I went back to them because I would have paid 10% to book it and get it done but they said no. I feel like I dodged a bullet & they may have disappeared on me. Some people seem eager to take your money without providing any service be that manual labor or even a setting up an appointment. I'm sure I'll be able to find someone else to do this simple job.
