Scheduled with Gina, the owner, and she set me up with the InShape machine and boy was it an AMAZING experience!! It does this thing that focuses on melting the fat and then stimulate the muscles under the fat! After about 45 mins or so feeling this vibration around my stomach; the area felt very light and loose (such a hard description to describe, but it's a good feeling). Then she hooked me to this other machine, I think called, NuShape? and THAT WAS AMAZING!!! The focus on that machine was the muscle then the fat. It would do these pounding sensations and it made me feel like I was doing 1000 ab crunches!!! I was so scared that I would get an abdominal cramp, but nothing happened! :) It's a different way to relax, but the OUTCOME after just 1 session was incredible!! After 30 mins of that, I looked in the mirror and boy, did my stomach look less bloated and felt really light!!! Standing, my belly fat felt like it was just broken up into pieces and was just waiting to escape my body!! I didn't feel jiggly at all!!! After that, she had me hop on this skateboard machine where you stand there and it jiggles! It was quite fun and fast! It was only for 10 mins and I saw the machine said I burned almost 600 calories!! That was cool! Felt all the places in my body that had fat jiggle! LOL Gave me more motivation to stick to my startup of working out and going the extra mile (that extra squat, that extra time on the treadmill)! Gina and her team are AMAZING!!! I went to the Oakhurst location and it's a very minimal, clean, beautiful aesthetic place!! :) I've been to her other location years ago, Marlboro, and it was also minimal, clean, and beautifully aesthetic. Their company and staff really stick their company's core values!!! I would definitely support small local businesses great as they are!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!!! Love her and her staff!!! Bought another package and can't wait to start this journey! Eating healthy and exercising goes hand in hand with this program!!! WE CAN DO THIS!!! Thank you Ms. Gina and her staff!!!! :) xoxoxo :)

Finally ,at a last desperate attempt, I was able to speak to the manager Begum at this location, and she and her team have been nothing but phenomenal at helping to try and rectify the situation. They handled the communication with corporate to allow me to get the correct clinical assessment and treatment plan from their associated dermatologist in order to reverse the damage that was done by the other location. The scarring isn't gone yet and my entire summer will be spent with hiding under sleeved clothing (no bathing suits or strapless tops/dresses during post-pandemic summer - so sad and intolerable in this heat!!!), but at least I know the problem is being handled appropriately now. My experience with the SOHO location could have really soured me with this company as a whole, but I really appreciate how Begum and her team have really taken customer service up a notch and will continue to go be a customer (albeit only at the Flatiron location.) Thanks, ladies!

I had an incredibly disappointing and painful experience at Spin Spa New York. I underwent two…read moretruSculpt iD sessions, spaced 12 weeks apart. After the first session, I saw zero results. I decided to give it another try, but after the second session, I was left with a second-degree burn on my stomach, exactly the size of the treatment pad. What made it even worse was how the spa handled the situation. When I reported the burn, they told me to come in for an evaluation and assured me they would help. Instead, I was met with a rude and dismissive representative who was more interested in shifting blame than offering support. She insisted I sign a waiver saying I wouldn't hold them responsible, and kept repeating that the spa was not at fault -- even though the burn clearly came from their equipment during their treatment. It felt like they were more concerned with protecting themselves than helping a customer who was injured in their care. I was misled into thinking they would assist with the healing and hyperpigmentation -- only to be gaslit and told they wouldn't be helping me at all. So here I am, six months later: two truSculpt iD treatments, absolutely no visible results, and a permanent mark from a second-degree burn. I expected professionalism and accountability. Instead, I got negligence and hostility. Think twice before trusting your body to this place.
