I spoke to a gentleman and set up an appointment for the following week on my day off from work. I left my cell phone number for contact. The morning of the appointment, I arrived at the office 10 mins early, because I had left the house early due to rain. After a few minutes I went into the office and found a disheveled, untidy workspace right out of the 60s, but not in a good way. I told the only gentleman there that I had an appointment with Mr. XX at 9xx. He said he wasn't in yet, could I wait a few minutes? After 15 minutes, at my request, he called the man I had the appointment with and told me he was "running late" this morning and asked if I could keep waiting. I sat there a few more minutes and the man left the area and didn't come back, perhaps embarrassed at the turn of events. I left, and took my business elsewhere. Not a good experience for someone new to the community. What could they have done better? How about calling the person who has an appointment and offering to reschedule with them, or at least let them know you're sorry, you forgot the appointment. His time was no more valuable than mine and I wasted my time off from work. Very unprofessional behavior from someone whose last name is the same as the name on the building!

Realized that things had been a bit off for a while and a few policy details had been changed without my input, while some changes I had requested weren't being applied.
