I am afraid of chiropractors. I have never been to a chiropractor because of this (until now). It's true!! I hate the sound of cracking backs and fingers and any joint really, and have you ever seen someone get their neck adjusted? NO WAY JOSE. After having intense back pain and talking to several co-workers who all recommended Dr. Olson, I figured he might be my best shot to getting help with my pain. Upon my first appointment I explained to Dr. Olson my pain problems but also shared with him how afraid I was. He is very understanding and kind!! We worked through that together and he never does any work without explaining it first and making sure I am ok with it (NO neck adjustments for example!!). He has a "drop table" which sounds scary but it allows for less invasive adjustments that, for me at least, are not painful and I don't hear any creepy cracking internally (thank goodness!!). The initial visit was about 55 minutes long and now my visits are about 10 minutes long. I can see that Dr. Olson is the type to get you healthy again and he would be happy to never see you again. His goal is to treat and heal, not to maintain a large group of return customers just for the sake of it. I had to go 3 times per week for 2 weeks and now that my pain is less, I am going once a week for a couple more visits and then we will be done! No pressure. Best of all he hasn't suggested any X Rays or anything else that might cost me more than the copay. The lobby, rooms and restroom are well lit and clean. There is plenty of parking. There are also 3 massage therapists that work out of his building so you can get an adjustment and a massage in the same visit if you coordinate just so. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Olson for a few years now. I suffer from chronic lower back pain due to a degenerative disk issue. Dr. Olson significantly helps me in managing my pain. I don't have insurance that covers chiropractic, but I find Dr. Olson's rates to be the best around! Also, his front desk ladies are super friendly and outgoing. They always great you with a smile and get you to a room quickly. Dr. Olson is an honest man with a great sense of humor. I highly recommend him! read more

First couple times to a new chiropractor can be a bit of a feeling out period for both patient and doctor. I'm a big guy and kind of tense, Dr. Olson was a little too gentle the first visit, second and third visit I requested and received a more "enthusiastic" adjustment. Probably wise to error on the side of finesse over muscle, but now we're good. I went in with a badly tweeked lower and middle lumbar area, Dr. Olson got me going in the right direction and gave me some new stretching and strengthening exercises to implement. It took me three sessions (M-W-F) to get straightened out, but considering where I was this was a great outcome for me. I was NOT pressured at all for extra services, i.e. x,rays, cat scans, acupuncture, aroma therapy, or weekly sessions that go on forever (some of you know what I'm talking about). My only tip is that you clarify the charges for an initial visit, adjustment, and appointment. Because when the bill comes, it may shock you. Over $200 for an initial visit that lasts less than 30 minutes and consists of an "adjustment" that will only work if you keep coming back for follow up appointments is NOT worth it. I went in looking for relief and was told that I would need multiple visits a week in order for me to feel any sort of difference. Really? I just wanted a simple adjustment and other places I've been to have been able to give you a quick adjustment and your whole body feels better. Will not be back and would not recommend. read more
