As it was, I couldn't even get past the receptionist. I chose this doctor- 40 minutes from my home- because of the good reviews. However, a doctor's quality is also reflected in their staff. The office person did notify me two days before to come in early because I had not filled out my paperwork online. Well, the day before my appointment I did print it out and fill it in- in case there were any unforeseen traffic events I would be prepared upon arrival. I was relieved when I arrived at 3:31 (yes, there was horrendous traffic on the way). I was only one minute late! I handed my paperwork to the receptionist, who was already unhappy. She monotoned, "you were supposed to be here by 3:15". Yes, I responded, but that was because I hadn't filled out my paperwork- so here it is filled out. At this point another person inserted herself and said, "You were late, we will have to reschedule you." Seriously? I looked at my watch- it was 3:32pm by this point. "Seriously?" I said outloud. Seriously. I had slammed into a wall and they were unbudging. I was simply stunned. There were no other patients that I could see. I didn't know how to respond. I couldn't comprehend the lack of kindness or empathy that I had just navigated through 40 minutes of driving to arrive there...let alone the constant pain in my feet. I didn't know what to do- so I just walked out. I will find another doctor closer to home.

Dr nolan did a poor job on my shoulder replacement which was not properly secure and tore out and required a revision that stunned other surgeons and resulted in a lifelong handicap. She offered zero expertise. She should also hire adequate staff so someone is there to answer the phones and make timely appointments and referrals. Also a licensed tech should do X-rays, not office staff.

I had been given numerous recommendations for physical therapy, but after choosing OSSPT and seeing the team in action there was no doubt I was in good hands! I had undergone major surgeries to rebuild both legs (including total knee replacement). Dr. Kaytlyn Hansmeyer absolutely performed magic in skillfully restoring both of my legs to full mobility (walking 5+ miles, climbing 20+ flights of stairs, biking, swimming and more...)! Her professionalism and care were most excellent and much appreciated! Each leg had serious issues following surgery. Kaytlyn patiently listened to my complaints and demonstrated a high degree of expertise as she addressed and resolved each issue. My major near-term goal was to be physically fit to serve as Sports Director at a youth camp in Hawaii next month (June). My wife went to Dr. Parkinson and had everything set up for back surgery and he knew she was a type…read moreone diabetic. At first he okay with her A1C for surgery and sent her to see a cardiologist to see if her heart was good. Her heart was in great condition and they said she was okay for surgery. Shortly after that my wife watched a webcast about robotic back surgery and thought she would get a second opinion before the other surgery was scheduled. When we had records forwarded to the other doctor Parkinson got a little huffy and dropped my wife. Told her she had to have her A1C in the 6's, now that is practically impossible for someone who has been a Type one for 50 years. I was really surprised how lax Parkinson office was when it came to Covid 19. Not everyone was wearing a mask and his assistant didn't introduce himself. We didn't know who he was. He wasn't wearing a mask and Parkinson came in with his mask down on his face. Very poor in these times, because he just laughed the usage of masks for the virus. We just though this was so strange for a medical doctor to act this way because of our medical back grounds. I would never recommend going to Parkinson because of his lax way fo looking at medical issues and his arrogant attitude. Find a good doctor who is not so touchy and works with you, if he was really good doctor he wouldn't be offended when a person who wants a second option. Especially when it comes to such a life changing surgery and want more confidence going forward!!!! Just be aware and be careful when picking a doctor!!!

I had a total right knee replacement in April and then my left done 3 weeks ago and I can't sing his praises high enough! He is current, and cutting edge, using technology to ensure patients have the best recoveries. After discussing (at great length) several treatment options for my pain, I finally decided to allow her to give me some injections. There's just something about her that makes you trust her - something in her personality....something. I don't know how to explain it. Every time I see her, I joke, "You don't know how lucky you are that I'm letting you give me shots." Because it's really *that* big of a deal to me. One of the best things about her office? You don't need a referral. She's a pain management doctor....and you don't need a referral. Wwwhhhaaaattttt. I am truthfully eternally grateful for Dr. Hancock. I'm living a pain-free life right now, which is more than I ever thought possible three months ago. If you are in pain, Dr. Hancock's office is the place to go.
