He had his wisdom teeth out 2 weeks ago and he ended up getting an infection. I told him he needed to get this taken care of ASAP and not keep driving or it will just get worse. I was able to get him in with Dr. Boyce without my son even being a patient there. They got him right in, took care of the infection, so he could be on his way. Well, I'll give more information if it prevents any poor, unsuspecting patients from choosing this guy! Disclaimer: I am a former patient, chose him out of the Yellow Pages when I first got to Billings and before I was married (my experience was 5+ years ago). I had a filling that needed work. He "fixed" it by drilling so far into the tooth that I developed an infection. Another dentist in Billings (the one that had to take over my care, as I refused to step foot back into Thomas' office) told me that the work he did was "questionable" and that he would support me if I went to the state board to report him! So yes, this is an office to steer clear of. Not only did I end up out hundreds of dollars (had used my dental insurance on his first "fix"), I needed a root canal, got put on miserable antibiotics, and lost days off of work due to pain. It was awful, and it's easy to remember to write this review because of how dreadful it was. In addition, the front desk and the billing ladies were ruuuuuude and acted like they were inconvenienced by me even being in their presence. The only nice thing I do remember was my dental hygienist - she was great. Update: I received a random message from someone tonight who I assume is associated with this office. Screenshot attached. So unprofessional - instead of acknowledging I had a bad experience and using this as an opportunity to improve, they continue to be snarky and combative. What is the deal?!? Customer/patient service is not this difficult!!

The Billing Department also was also not helpful at all. To be specific, our insurance situation was cleared up on the phone prior to the procedure, but when we arrived, we were told it was out of network & we had to pay 2,700+ instead of 700 as we were told. Never again! Incompetent & rude staff at Billings Oral & Dental Implant Center. I Do Not recommend this... place unless you are extremely wealthy & enjoy getting treated badly.
